Scleroderma and coronary artery disease: a case report.

We present the case of a 35-year-old woman presenting with the rare combination of scleroderma and ischemic heart disease. Her ECG suggested old inferior wall myocardial infarction. Coronary angiography revealed significant coronary artery disease.

Transvenous permanent pacemaker implantation through persistent left superior vena cava.

Permanent pacemaker implantation in patients with persistent left superior vena cava and absent right superior vena cava is a technically challenging procedure with conventional methods. We report the successful use of an atrial 'J' stillette as a new technique for positioning the ventricular-tined, pacemaker lead in such patients.
