RESUMO
Se realizó este trabajo para montar y estandarizar un método con el cual evaluar la lipoproteína de baja densidad oxidada (LDLox) contenida en los inmunocomplejos, mediante la cuantificación del colesterol total presente en el precipitado de polietilenglicol denominado "colesterol inmune". Se obtuvo una adecuada respuesta lineal, que se corroboró con los resultados del análisis de regresión, donde se pudo computar la recta de mejor ajuste para los puntos. Se halló un rango de concentración de la curva de 5 a 40 µg/mL, el límite de detección del método fue de 0,5 µg/mL, la repetibilidad y la reproducibilidad fueron de 3,7 y 4,5 porciento respectivamente. Al analizar la recuperación total del método esta fue del 96,3 porciento. Se obtuvo el 80 porciento de sensibilidad y especificidad, así como el 84 y 76 porciento de valor predictivo positivo y negativo, respectivamente. Los resultados obtenidos avalan la calidad analítica del método para ser utilizado en las investigaciones relacionadas con la aterosclerosis coronaria, cerebral y periférica(AU)
This paper was made to mount and standardize a method to evaluate the oxidized low density lipoprotein (LDLox) contained in the immunocomplexes by the quantification of total cholesterol present in the precipitate of polyethylene glycol denominated "immune cholesterol". It was obtained an adequate lineal response that was corroborated with the results of the regression analysis, where it was possible to compute the straight line of best adjustment for the points. A range of concentration of the curve from 5 to 40 m g/mL was found. The limit of detection of the method was 0.5 m g/mL. The repeatability and reproducibility were 3.7 and 4.5 percent, respectively. On analyzing the total recovery of the method, it was 96.3 percent. 80 percent of sensitivity and specificity and 84 and 76 percent of positive and negative predictive value, respectively, were obtained. The results showed the analytical quality of the method to be used in the investigations related to coronary, cerebral and peripheral atherosclerosis(AU)
