RESUMO

Objective To know a kind of method to prevent contamination of water system in department of stomatology. Methods Divided 120 patients with dental diseases into the control group and the observation group randomly, there were 60 cases in each group. Replace the holding tank of wa-ter and distilled water per 24 hours was used in the control group, while the method of replace the hold-ing tank of water and distilled water for each person was used in the observation group, and then com-pared the contamination condition of water system between the two groups. Results The percent of pass of water system in the observaiton group was 100%, which significant higher than the 68.33% in the control group. Conclusions Replace the holding tank of water and distilled water for each person is a kind of method to avoid contamination of water system in department of stomatology.

RESUMO

Objective To find a safe way to disinfect moulage tray and reformative model for the department of stomatology and refine the traditional disinfection method. Methods Using the self-developed ultraviolet disinfectant equipment with intense light board, by virus and HBsAg contamina-tion test, we compared the numbers of virus in the observation group and the control group, which con-sisted of 122 moulage trays and reformative models, before and after disinfection, and observed the ef-fect of disinfection. Results After 5-minute disinfection, 99.99% living bacteria were killed, which meets the standard requirement of P.R.C health department that indicator bacteria killing ratio must be greater or equal than 99.9%. After 18-minute disinfection, HBsAg antigen destructiveness meets S/N< 2.1 standard of P.R.C health department. After 20 min, the antigen was destroyed completely. Bacteria contents before and after disinfection in 122 moulage trays and reformative models were different in statistics.. Conclusions The disinfection method using ultraviolet disinfectant equipment with intense light board is harmless, taintless and efficient, and provides a safe, reliable and maneuverable way for the moulage tray and reformative model disinfection in the department of stomntology.

RESUMO

Objective To explore using evidence-based medicine to establish infection control process of hospital supply room. Methods We determined problems in the practice through collecting relevant materials on infection control of hospital supply room. Then we searched the related literatures from the evidencebased medicine(EBM) websites(MEDLINE database, ere) and undertook comprehensive evaluation, established all the infection control processes of hospital supply department by applying a systematic method. Results All the monitoring indexes were compared between the control group and the observation group :disinfection and sterilization of instruments (P<0.01), management of aseptic materials (P<0.05), environmental hygiene monitoring (P<0.05) and handwashing compliance of medical staff met standard requirements(P<0.05).All the items were statistically different between the two groups. Conclusions The method of EBM applied in establishing of infection control process of hospital supply room provides scientific and systematic working method.

RESUMO

To make sure the compliance of education about how to preventing sharp instrument injuries among clinical nurses, and then propose certain effective countermeasures to preventing sharp instrument injuries. Methods Using the questionnaire which was designed according to the requirement of preventing sharp instrument injuries in clinical nursing cares to investigated 1291 nurses from 22 hospitals, and then analyzed the datum which had summarized from this investigation. Results The self-prevention of sharp instrument injuries in clinical nursing cares was weak in general. There were 11.93% nurses know nothing about how to preventing sharp instrument injuries. The ratio of usually washing hands before and after touch patients was 33.23% , and the ratio of usually wearing gloves when doing some operation which maybe touch blood was 23.01 %. There were 976 accidents of sharp instrument injuries in this investigation, the ratio of report was only 23.16%. Conclusion Reinforce the education about how to preventing sharp instrument injuries among clinical nurses is an effective method to low down the incidence rate of sharp instrument injuries, and then avoid the risk of infection which come from clinical nursing operation.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE To explore how to establish the hospital infection control process by using evidence-based medicine.METHODS In order to establish the hospital infection control process for every department the data related to hospital infection were collected through searching related literature from MEDLINE,Chinese biomedicine literature database authorized by Institute of Medical Information.Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and evidence-based medicine network then estimated thoroughly.RESULTS The incidence of hospital infection patients, environment sanitation inspection, medical staff hand-washing compliance, and occupational exposure all were up to scratch(P
