RESUMO
Herbert Marcuse e Vilém Flusser realizam uma aguda crítica da razão prevalecente na sociedade contemporânea, ao identificar os instrumentos que promovem a manipulação e a programação das consciências, isto é, os mecanismos de controle, na visão de Herbert Marcuse, e os aparelhos que portam programas, de acordo com Vilém Flusser. Pretendemos apresentar esses pontos de contato entre as ideias dos dois filósofos e como a comunicação de massa se insere na discussão de cada um deles. Este trabalho é um início de diálogo entre o pensamento de ambos.
Herbert Marcuse and Vilém Flusser realize an acute critique of the prevalent reason in the contemporary society, identifying the instruments that promote the manipulation and the programming of the consciousness of people, that is, the control mechanisms, in the view of Herbert Marcuse, and the apparatus, according to Vilém Flusser. We intend to expose these contact points between the ideas of both philosophers and how the mass communication inserts itself in the discussion of each of them. This text is a beginning of a dialogue between the thoughts of both.
