RESUMO
From the deficit of the utilization of instrumental memory during and academic examination, even to the imposibility of remembering the traumatic events act as a perturbing factor on the cognitive function. The reappearance of "forgotten" events in patients who have suffered catastrophic situations, independent of the time of occurence, suggest the existence of a limiting mechanism at the structural level.
