RESUMO

Objective:To explore the influence of mindfulness on perceived stress in psychiatric nurses and the mediating effect of resilience. Methods:A total of 427 psychiatric nurses from a psychiatric hospital in Beijing were selected.Five-facet mindfulness questionnaire(FFMQ), Chinese-version perceived stress scale (CPSS) and Connor-Davidson resilience scale (CD-RISC) were used in this survey.Pearson correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis were performed using SPSS 24.0.And mediating effect was performed using AMOS 24.0.Results:The total score of psychiatric nurses' perceived stress was (37.89±7.16). Among all psychiatric nurses, 66.74% were under high pressure and 20.84% were under great pressure. The perceived stress was negatively correlated with mindfulness(123.69±10.82, r=-0.65, P<0.01) and resilience(85.40±17.87, r=-0.67, P<0.01), and mindfulness was positively correlated with resilience ( r=0.50, P<0.01). The direct effect of mindfulness on perceived stress was -0.15, the indirect effect was -0.34, and the total effect was -0.49. Conclusion:Resilience plays a partial mediating role between mindfulness and perceived stress psychiatric nurses.

RESUMO

Objective:To explore the relationship between early maladaptive schemas, defense styles and mental health in patients with depression, and to investigate the mediating effects of defense styles between early maladaptive schemas and mental health. Methods:A total of 87 outpatients with depression were assessed with the Young schema questionnaire-short form 2(YSQ-SF2), defense style questionnaire(DSQ), symptom checklist-90(SCL-90) and Beck depression inventory(BDI). SPSS Process program and Bootstrap method were used to explore the mediating effect of defense styles. Results:The scores of abandonment/instability were higher in females than those in males (2(0.5, 4), 0(0, 1.25), Z=-2.963, P=0.003) while the score of emotional inhibition was higher in males than in females (1(0, 3), 0(0, 2), Z=-2.318, P=0.02). The total score of SCL-90 was positively predicted by vulnerability to harm or illness and emotional deprivation, with an explanatory variation rate of 27.7%.The number of SCL-90 positive items was positively predicted by social isolation/alienation and abandonment/instability, with an explanatory variation rate of 19.3%.Immature defense styles fully mediate the relationship between social isolation/alienation and mental health, as well as between abandonment/instability and mental health. Conclusion:Social isolation/alienation and abandonment/instability affect the mental health of patients with depression by the mediating effect of immature defense styles.

RESUMO

The occurrence of depression is related to many factors, and the current research mainly focus on biological aspects such as biochemistry, neuroendocrine and immune, and genetic factors. However, as an important psychological factor, the relationship between childhood trauma and depression has not been paid enough attention. Therefore,it is important to discuss and summarize the relationship between them. Many literatures have shown that childhood trauma can significantly increase the prevalence of depression, which has a great impact on the clinical characteristics and treatment of patients with depression. The mecha-nism may be related to the changes in cognitive and psychological patterns caused by trauma. In addition, childhood trauma can affect the epigenetics and brain structure of patients with depression. Based on the a-bove findings, the public should pay attention to the mental health problems in childhood, minimize or avoid childhood trauma,so as to reduce the occurrence of depression.

RESUMO

Objective To survey the quality of life and mental health status of pre-post household service workers who held a high school graduation certificate or above and had been engaged in different work. Methods A total of 254 household service workers completed Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90) and World Health Organization Quality of Life-Brief (WHOQL-BREF).Statistical analyses of variance and correlation were carried out to evaluate mental health status and quality of life of the participants. Results Abnormal score of SCL-90 was found in 8% of household service workers who had graduated from high school. The psychological score of household service workers who had worked as workers(60.59± 2.18)was lower than those who had worked as service workers (66.23 ± 12.13) or peasants (65.40 ± 12.24) (P <0.05).Almost all factors of SCL-90 were negatively correlated with WHOQL-BREF (correlation coefficient -0.140 to-0.376).Conclusions Our data suggest that mental health status can be well in pre-post household service workers who held a high school graduation certificate or above.Special training should be given to the household service workers in accordance with their working experience.

@#ObjectiveTo explore the death causes and its related factors among psychotic inpatients.MethodsThe medical records of dead psychotic inpatients over recent ten years were investigated with self-designed scheme.ResultsAmong all the investigated cases, the percentage of schizophrenia was more than 50%, the death diagnosis due to somatopathy was over 80%, and more than 50% inpatients suffered from 2~3 kinds of somatopathy. Marital status, diagnosis, smoking and drinking had influenced to the live time of psychotic inpatients.ConclusionThe death of psychotic inpatients might be influenced by multiple causes, including social factors and clinical features which should be paid much attention to extend their live time.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the effect of relaxation response on mental health in physically heath subjects. Methods The literatures on relaxation response published in recent 20 years were searched. Those using Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90)and meeting inclusive criteria were analyzed with meta analysis. Results Nine literatures including 975 subjects were enrolled. The mean weight change(WMD)of SCL-90 Was 0.10 to 0.24.In overall effect test, Z value was 3.64 to 9.64(all P<0.05).Conclusion Relaxation response may help to improve mental health of Chinese population.

RESUMO

@#Objective To explore the characteristics of defense mechanism in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD).Methods Outpatients diagnosed as OCD were tested by Yale-Brown obsessive Compulsive Scale. Among them, 40 patients with score beyond or equal to 16 were selected as research group. 33 healthy individuals were selected as normal group. They were tested with Defense Style Questionnaire. Results ①The factor score of immature defense mechanisms in the OCD group is much higher than that in the normal group (P<0.01); the factor score of mature defense mechanisms in the OCD group is lower than that in the normal group (P<0.05); the factor score of middle defense mechanisms in the OCD group is much higher than that in the normal group (P<0.01). ②Passive aggression, acting out, splitting, regression, somatization in the immature defense mechanisms and relief, false altruism, isolation in the middle defense mechanisms are much more used by the OCD group than that in the normal group; but suppression and humor in the mature defense mechanisms are less used by the OCD group than that of the normal group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). ③Sublimation, suppression and consuming tendency are much more used in male patients than female ones in OCD group(P<0.05).Conclusion The patients with OCD tend to use the immature defense mechanisms and middle defense mechanisms, and there is some difference between male and female patients in using defense mechanisms.
