RESUMO
O processo de tornar-se mãe envolve mudanças na vida da mulher de ordem biológica, psicológica e social, sendo que diversos fatores podem ser determinantes para a decisão da gestante em não permanecer com o seu bebê. A partir da Política de Atenção à Gestante, criada em 2015, o Estado de São Paulo criou um protocolo de atendimento humanizado à mulher que deseja entregar o seu filho para a adoção. Este estudo objetivou apresentar um estudo de caso do processo de avaliação psicológica realizado com uma mulher que estava na sua terceira gestação e manifestou o desejo de entregar o filho para adoção, tendo desistido após o nascimento da criança. Os dados apontaram que a participante buscou pela reparação e construção dos vínculos familiares para que pudesse exercer a maternidade de maneira mais efetiva. Verificou-se a importância da avaliação psicológica neste período, bem como da articulação da rede de serviços para o atendimento a esses casos.
The process of becoming a mother involves changes in the woman's life of a biological, psychological and social nature, and several factors can be decisive for the pregnant woman's decision not to remain with her baby. Based on the Pregnant Women Care Policy, created in 2015, the State of São Paulo created a humanized care protocol for women who want to deliver their child for adoption. This study aimed to present a case study of the psychological assessment process carried out with a woman who was in her third pregnancy and expressed the desire to deliver the child for adoption, having given up after the childs birth. The data point to a search for the repair and construction of family bonds so that motherhood can be exercised effectively. It was verified the importance of psychological evaluation in this period, as well as the articulation of the service network to attend these cases.

Resumo Investigou-se a produção científica dedicada ao estudo da relação entre pai e filha com transtornos alimentares. Foi realizada uma revisão integrativa nas bases PsycINFO, CINAHL, PubMed e LILACS, no período de janeiro de 2000 a junho de 2014. Foram selecionados 27 artigos, a maioria proveniente de países europeus e constituída de estudos quantitativos. A vinculação pouco segura com a figura paterna e o relacionamento emocionalmente distante entre pai e filha foram aspectos recorrentes nas publicações selecionadas. Os estudos apontaram a importância de se investigar e assegurar a participação do pai no tratamento. Porém, nenhum dos artigos revisados investigou o envolvimento paterno no contexto da assistência. Destaca-se a necessidade de investir em estudos qualitativos e no contexto brasileiro.
Abstract We investigated the scientific production dedicated to the analysis of the relationship between daughters with eating disorders and their fathers. An integrative review was performed on PsycINFO, CINAHL, PubMed and LILACS databases. We reviewed studies published between January 2000 and June 2014. Twenty-seven studies were included in the review. Most were from European countries and were comprised of quantitative studies. An unstable relationship with the father figure and an emotionally distant relationship between father and daughter were recurring themes in the selected publications. Studies showed the importance of investigating and ensuring the participation of fathers in the treatment of eating disorders, but none of them investigated father involvement in terms of assistance. Further research is needed in order to explore qualitative studies in the Brazilian context.
