RESUMO

Objective: To observe the efficacy of modified Qingweisan on acute pulpitis (AP) of children with syndrome of hyperactivity of gastric fire and its effect on inflammatory factors. Method: One hundred and six patients were randomly divided into control group (52 cases) and observation group (54 cases) by random number table. Patients in control group got one-off root canal therapy, and azithromycin for suspension after the therapy for a continued 3 days, 10 mg·kg-1, 3 times/days. In addition to the therapy of control group, patients in observation group were also given modified Qingweisan for 7 days, 1 dose/day. Before treatment and at the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th days after treatment, visual analogue scale (VAS), faces rating scale-revised (FPS-R), verbal rating scale and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome were scored before and after treatment. And pain relief time and time for masticatory function returned to normal were recorded. And levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), IL-6, calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) and substance P were detected. And a 6-month follow-up was carried out to record the success or failure. Result: At the 3rd, 5th and 7th days after treatment, score of VAS in observation group was lower than that in control group(Prd and 7th days after treatment, score of FPS-R was lower than that in control group (Pth days after treatment, degree of pain in observation group was lighter than that in control group (PPPα, IL-1β, IL-6, CGRP and SP were all lower than those in control group(PConclusion: Modified Qingweisan can inhibit expressions of inflammatory factors and pain transmitters, ameliorate the pain and shorten course of disease among children after disposable root canal therapy, with a satisfactory short-term effect.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the expression differences and significance of periostin (PN) in eyelid basal cell carcinoma associated fibroblasts (BCAFs) andnormal fibroblasts (NFs) after separation, culture, purification and identification. Methods The third generation of purified BCAFs and NFs was selected, and the concentrations of cell suspensions were modulated to 20 × 106 L-1 by trypsin, and then the cell suspension were seeded and cultured in 6-well plate by 2 mL per well. The cell culture supernatants were collected when BCAFs and NFs were cultured by serum-free medium for 48 h,then the content of PN in cell culture supernatants from BCAFs and NFs was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The glass coverslips were placed at the bottom of the 6-well plate to make cell slides, and then the expression of PN in BCAFs and NFs cells were tested by immunofluorescence staining. Results ELISA showed that the content of PN in cell culture supernatants from BCAFs and NFs was (9.26 ± 2.35) μg · L-1 and (2.57 ± 0.41) μg · L-1.And the expression level of PN in BCAFs tested by immunofluorescence staining technology was higher than that in NFs cells, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05).Conclusion The expression and secretion of PN in the eyelid BCAFs were highly enhanced when compared with NFs,suggesting that periostein may promote or inhibit the occurrence and development of the eyelid basal cell carcinoma in the microenvironment of the eyelid basal cell carcinoma.

RESUMO

· Blepharokeratoconjunctivitis (BKC) refers to a group of inflammatory lesions secondary to chronic blepharitis in cornea and (or) conjunctiva,is very common in clinic. At the same time, this kind of disease is easily misdiagnosed and missed diagnosed, which causing the management of patient were delayed. The characteristic of BKC is that the patient's condition is prolonged unhealed and unreasonable treatment can result in irreversible damage to the visual function of the patient. In recent years, with the public's understanding of ocular surface diseases has deepened, they also emphasized the influence of BKC to eye health.Although a large number of clinical studies have been carried out on the diagnosis and treatment of BKC,at present there is no unified standard of diagnosis and treatment for it.Consulting the relevant literature and combined with current research status, the diagnosis and treatment of BKC are reviewed in this paper.
