RESUMO
This study was conducted on 12 complete edentulous patients, their age ranged between 50 and 60 years. Patients were divided into two groups. Group I included six patients to whom complete dentures were constructed using cross-linked heat cured resin material. Group II included six patients to whom complete dentures were constructed using visible light cure resin material, following the manufacturer's instructions. Two biopsies were taken from each patient. The first one before wearing dentures, while the second one was taken eight months after wearing dentures. All biopsies were taken from the mandibular bicuspid area. The inflammatory cellular infiltration found before wearing denture almost disappeared in all cases after wearing denture made of the heat cured resin, while it was still present in the most of the cases treated with the VLC resin
