RESUMO
Los enfermeros (as) deben tener una formación que los (a) capacite para resolver conflictos morales que se presentan en la práctica habitual, que facilite la creación de relaciones equilibradas y que le permitan reconocer al paciente como elemento fundamental de su trabajo. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo y transversal en el área de cirugía del Hospital Clinico-Quirúrgico "Dr. Ambrosio Grillo Portuondo" provincia Santiago de Cuba, con el objetivo de analizar el cumplimiento de los principios fundamentales de la Bioética en la práctica diaria. El trabajo se realizó en el primer semestre del año 2001 y el universo lo conformaron 110 enfermeras y 3 enfermeros. La edad osciló entre los 25 y 35 años de edad y predominó el personal que labora en servicios abiertos. Los principios bioéticos de autonomía, beneficencia y justicia entre otros, fueron cumplidos en un 100 por ciento y se respetaron los derechos del paciente, sus decisiones, preferencias y se evitaron daños. Las necesidades o problemas identificados en la ficha de registro individual fueron mínimas, no constituyeron violaciones de normas ni incumplimientos de enfermería por lo que no se afectó la calidad de la atención brindada(AU)

He/she was carried out a descriptive, retrospective and traverse study in the area of surgery of the Clinical-surgical Hospital Dr. Ambrosio I Sprout Portuondo county Santiago from Cuba, with the objective of analyzing the execution of the fundamental principles of the Bioética in the daily practice. The work was carried out in the first semester of the year 2001 and the universe 110 nurses and 3 male nurses they conformed it. The age oscillated between the 25 and 35 years of age and the personnel that works in open services prevailed. The principles bioéticos of autonomy, charity and justice among other, they were completed by 100 percent and the patient's rights were respected, their decisions, preferences and damages were avoided. The necessities or problems identified in the record of registration singular were minimum, they didn't constitute violations of norms neither infirmary nonfulfillments for what the quality of the offered attention was not affected(AU)
