RESUMO

The ability to maintain metabolic homeostasis is a key capability critical for the survival and well-being of animals living in constantly changing environments. Metabolic homeostasis depends on neuromodulators, such as biogenic amines, neuropeptides, and hormones, to signal changes in animals’ internal metabolic status and to orchestrate their behaviors accordingly. An important example is the regulation of feeding behavior by conserved molecular and cellular mechanisms across the animal kingdom. Its relatively simple brain coupled with well-characterized genetics and behavioral paradigms makes the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster an excellent model for investigating the neuromodulatory regulation of feeding behavior. In this review we discuss the neuromodulators and neural circuits that integrate the internal physiological status with external sensory cues and modulate feeding behavior in adult fruit flies. Studies show that various specific aspects of feeding behavior are subjected to unique neuromodulatory regulation, which permits fruit flies to maintain metabolic homeostasis effectively.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVETo obtain high?quality low?dose CT images using total generalized variation regularization based on the projection data for low?dose CT reconstruction.

METHODSThe projection data of the CT images were transformed from Poisson distribution to Gaussian distribution using the linear Anscombe transform. The transformed data were then restored by an efficient total generalized variation minimization algorithm. Reconstruction was finally achieved by inverse Anscombe transform and filtered back projection (FBP) method.

RESULTSThe image quality of low?dose CT was greatly improved by the proposed algorithm in both Clock and Shepp?Logan phantoms. The signal?to?noise ratios (SNRs) of the Clock and Shepp-Logan images reconstructed by FBP algorithm were 17.752 dB and 19.379 dB, which were increased by the proposed algorithm to 24.0352 and 23.4181 dB, respectively. The NMSE of the Clock and Shepp?Logan images reconstructed by FBP algorithm was 0.86% and 0.58%, which was reduced by the proposed algorithm to 0.2% and 0.23%, respectively.

CONCLUSIONThe proposed method can effectively suppress noise and strip artifacts in low?dose CT images when piecewise constant assumption is not possible.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the clinical application of specific allergen immunotherapy (AIT)for the children with al-lergic asthma and rhinitis. Methods The in vitro specific allergen test system was adopted to detect allergen specific IgE and total IgE in children outpatients of the Children's Hospital. The children patients with dust mite allergy were divided into groups for con-ducting therapy. The immunotherapy group adopted the Dermatophagoides farinae drops for hypoglossis desensitization therapy, while the control group was performed the anti-allergic therapy by the common drugs. The clinical control indicator scores were per-formed after 6-months and 12-month therapy and at the same time the change of serum specific LgE was observed. Results Among 218 cases of allergy,114 cases(52.4%)were inhalation allergy and 101 cases (46.3%)were food allergy.98 cases of dust mite al-lergy accounted for 44.95% of the total allergy and 85.96% of the inhalation allergy. The difference in the curative effects between the AIT group and the control group had statistical significance(P <0.01).Conclusion Among 218 children cases of allergy, the dust mite allergy was maximum in the specific allergen detection;the hypoglossis specific immunotherapy has significant curative effect for the children with allergic asthma and rhinitis.

RESUMO

0.5 or close to 1.0,suggesting marker retained many parts of the sigmoid colon and rectum,FOOC possibility.Normal group, constipation group colon 48,72 hour markers district retention contrast, have significant differences.TI as the STC's kinetic parameters can be used as the difference between STC and the simple and reliable indicators FOOC.17 cases in this group(accounting for 68%)FC children with TI in 48 h,72 h were 0.5,in line with the characteristics of FOOC.Conclusion The results of this study showed that colonic transit time checks can be more accurately reflect the normal function of colonic transit may be the evaluation of patients with functional constipation colonic transit weaken the seriousness of the correct and reasonable to carry out sub-type of clinical treatment of important guiding significance.
