Neumopatia intersticial en pacientes con polimiositis y dermatomiositis: reporte de cuatro casos / Interstitial Lung Disease in Patients With Polymyositis and Dermatomyositis: four Cases Report

RESUMEN Se reporta cuatro casos: tres con dermatomiositis y uno con poliomiositis con compromiso pulmonar, tratados con pulsos de metilprednisolona asociado con azatioprina en tres casos y uno con ciclofosfamida, tres de ellos fallecieron, dos por complicaciones infecciosas pulmonares, el tercero por insuficiencia respiratoria aguda, Uno solo presento buena evolución bajo tratamiento con inmunoglobulina .En los cuatro pacientes el anticuerpo anti Jo fueron negativos.

Mujer joven con convulsiones y nódulos pulmonares / Young woman with seizures and pulmonary nodules

RESUMEN Se presenta caso clínico de mujer joven con convulsiones, masa ocupante de espacio en cerebro y lesiones nodulares en pulmones. Se confirmó tuberculosis pulmonar por bacteriología y anatomía patológica. El tratamiento antituberculoso curó la afectación pulmonar también hizo remitir la lesión cerebral, confirmándose así un tuberculoma cerebral.

ABSTRACT We present a case of a young woman who presented with seizures, space-occupying mass nodular lesions in the brain and lungs. Pulmonary tuberculosis was confirmed with bacteriology and histopathology. Anti tuberculosis treatment cured lung lesions, also with remission of made forward brain lesion, confirming a tuberculoma of the brain.
