RESUMO

Toll-like receptor (TLR) is an important pattem recognition receptor (PRR) which partici pates in innate immunity and regulates adaptive immunity.TLR can be expressed in immune cells and malig nant tumors recognize conservative molecular structure, mediate response of inflammation, tissue injury and repair, which plays an important role in the process of tumor.Research results about some molecules and signal pathways of TLR demonstrate that it can act anti or pro-tumor dual functions, which has an extensive prospects in prevention and treatment of tumor.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the expression levels of Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) tissue and the adjacent normal epithelial tissue.@*METHOD@#Reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) and Western-blot were used to detect the expression of TLR2 mRNA and protein levels in the tumors and adjacent normal epithelial tissues in 22 patients with LSCC, while vocal cord polyps were used as control.@*RESULT@#RT-PCR demonstrated that TLR2 mRNA expressed obviously in both of tumor and adjacent tissue, but rarely in control. The expression levels of TLR2 mRNA in tumor is higher than that in adjacent normal epithelial tissue (t=4.279, P<0.01). It's expression intensity was closely related to LSCC clinical stage (F=5.496, P<0.05)and lymph node metastasis status (N stage of tumor) (F = 4.271, P<0.05). The protein levels of TLR2 were consistent with mRNA expression.@*CONCLUSION@#Both mRNA and protein levels of TLR2 were obviously elevated in LSCC, which were associated closely with tumor clinical stage and lymph node metastasis. It is indicated that TLR2 may play an important role by multiple mechanism in laryngeal carcinoma process.

RESUMO

Objective To explore appropriate management of cancer report for general hospital and analyze the effect. Methods Based on the requirements of cancer report for general hospital that formulated by the health administrative departments,we set the rule and process of malignancy report. We clear the responsibilities of reporting and the management, strengthen the training of malignancies report, make regular supervision and evaluation, and gradually use information live system to monitor malignancies report. Results In 2006-2010,the number of reports of malignancy in our general hospital has a upward trend. The false negative rate and delaying rate decreased year by year. The pass rate of the report card increased year by year, and the difference was statistically significant (<0.05).With the increase of the rate of training for malignancies report, rate of timely report increased significantly. Conclusion General hospitals should use their own conditions to the development of scientific and operational report management systems and processes for malignancies.Attention should be paid to the combine of training and management and the gradual standardizing of the malignancies reporting.

RESUMO

Objective Construct the reasonably effective performance assessment mode of clinical departments, which is suitable for the continuous development of modern hospital.Method Use of balanced scorecard (BSC) principle, using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and Rank sum ratio method (RSR)to establish a performance assessment system. Results Constructed the performance assessment mode of clinical departments, which can be dynamically adjusted based on management objectives strategy. The mode takes the BSC as the baseline, the strategy of hospital development as the guide, performance assessment index system as the key element. Conclusion The performance assessment mode of clinical departments, base on BSC,achieve the strategic performance management, and is conducive to the hospital for continuous improvement of medical care quality,in line with the long-term strategic needs of the hospital.
