RESUMO

Objective To evaluate the expressions and its clinical significance of Foxj2 in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Methods Fifty cancer tissues from patients who underwentsurgery were collected.Western blot and immunohisto-chemical methods were used to detect the expressions of Foxj2.Results Results of western blot showed that Foxj2 expres-sion in lung cancer tissue was significantly lower than adjacent tissues. The difference between the two groups was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).Immunohistoehemical results showed that the number of Foxj2-positive cells in adjacent tissues was significantly higher than that in cancer tissues, and the expression of Foxj2 in non-lymphatic node metastasis group was higher than that in lymphatic node metastasis. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.01).Conclusion The expressions and location of Foxj2 was related to the lymphatic node metastasis of lung cancer. This phenomenon indicates that Foxj2 may play an important role in the development of lung cancer.

RESUMO

This study was designed to observe the clinical value of low-density lipoprotein immune complexes (LDL-ICs) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Fifty-four patients with type 2 diabetes + macroangiopathy (DM-MA group), 48 patients with type 2 diabetes (DM group), 45 patients with macroangiopathy ( MA group), and 30 normal controls ( NC group) were enrolled. LDL-ICs levels in the DM-MA group were significantly higher than those in the other three groups. The levels of LDL-ICs in the MA group were higher than those in the NC and DM groups. There was a significant difference in LDL-ICs between the DM and NC groups. LDL-ICs levels were positively related with body mass index (BMI), glycesylated hemoglobin Alc(HbAlc), blood pressure, total cholesterol, and triglyceride. There was no significant relationship between low-density lipsprotcin cholesterol and LDL-ICs. A significantly negative correlation was recorded between high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and LDL-ICs. Our study suggests that LDL-ICs, blood pressure, and HbAlc may be risk factors of macroangiopathy in type 2 diabetic patients.

RESUMO

Objective To observe the expression levels of CD174, cyclin D1 and cyclin E in gastrointestinal tumor tissues, analyze the correlation among CD174, cyclin D1 and cyclin E, and evaluate the expression level of CD174 for diagnosis and prognosis of gastrointestinal tumors. Methods Flow cytometry was used to determine the expression of CD174, cyclin D1 and cyclin E on surface of the cells which were collected from the tumor tissues and distant part beside the same tumor and suspended. The expression and topography of CD174 in gastrointestinal tissue were investigated with immunohistochemical staining. Results The expression of CD174 in tumor tissues was obviously lower than that in distal noncancerous tissues (P
