RESUMO

We report in this study a clinical, cytological and immunochemical analysis of 40 cases of multiple myeloma [MM]. According to the bio-clinical criteria of DURIE and SALMON staging, we observed a predominance of the third stage of the disease [72%]. The medullary plasmocytosis is lesser than 30% in 55% of the cases, between 30 and 60% in 30% of the cases and superior to 60% in 15% of the cases. The immunochemical study revealed 34 cases of entire monoclonal immunoglobulin type of MM subdivided into 19 cases of K light chain type and 15 cases of lambda one. In addition, we have typed 5 cases of entire monoclonal immunoglobulin MM associated to urinary lambda [

RESUMO

The pathogenesis of autoimmune dysthyroidism [AID] is dependent on the abnormal function of the immune system. It has been recently suggested that AID are multifactorial diseases in which immunogenetic as well as environmental factors have important roles. In this article, we report a genetic study of 25 cases of AID regarding a large Tunisian family composed of 7 succesive generations. Interestingly, the genealogic analysis revealed that our AID cases were transmitted according to an autosomal recessive mode of inheritance
