RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the effect of bone marrow stromal cell glycosyltransferase B4GALT1 expression on hematopoietic cell proliferation and its upstream regulation mechanism.@*METHODS@#B4GALT1 was overexpressed in human bone marrow stromal cell line HS5, which was then co-cultured with acute myeloid leukemia cell line KG1a. And its effect on hematopoietic cell proliferation was detected by flow cytometry. Dual luciferase reporter assay, real-time PCR and Western blot were used to predict and validate upstream transcription factors that regulate stromal cell B4GALT1 expression.@*RESULTS@#Overexpression of B4GALT1 in HS5 significantly promoted the proliferation of KG1a in the co-culture system. B4GALT1 expression in stromal cells positively correlated with upstream c-Jun expression, which was verified by JNK/c-Jun inhibitors.@*CONCLUSION@#The differential expression of glycosyltransferases and their corresponding glycosylation in the hematopoietic microenvironment play an important role.

RESUMO

The clinical research articles relevant with 's subcutaneous needling therapy (FSN) were retrieved from CNKI, WANFANG, CBM and PubMed databases till January 2018 since the establishment of database. According to the general international criteria of disease classification, the diseases involved in the articles were classified and summarized. In terms of the clinical application and research of FSN, the questions were extracted and commented through expert's consultation. As a result, 412 articles were included. The statistical results of disease spectrum indicated that FSN was adopted in 65 kinds of diseases in 11 systems. Of these diseases, the relevant somatic pain disorders in the musculoskeletal system were the most appropriate. Professor explained that the clinical physicians of FSN should select the muscle-related disorders as the clinical research subject and treat them with normalized manipulation of FSN. The research on FSN is still at the preliminary stage. It needs more high-quality clinical and basic researches to provide the evidences for the therapeutic effects of FSN.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Prosthesis simulation is critical for maxillofacial defects caused by maxillofacial tumor and trauma. Few studies have been reported on the vermilion color, much less the correlation between facial skin color and vermilion color. OBJECTIVE: To collect thecolorimetric values of human vermilion and facial skin, so as to determine the colorimetric value range and its relevance.. METHODS: The colorimetric values of vermilion and facial skin in 202 volunteers were measured by Japanese Konica Minolta CM-700d spectrophotometer, L* (brightness), a* (from –a* (green) to +a* (red)), b* (from –b*(yellow) to +a* (blue)) values were surveyed and calculated, and then analyzed with CIELAB color system. The correlation betweencolorimetric values of the vermilion and cheek skin color was analyzed.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: For the vermilion color in 202 volunteers, L* value was 53.25±3.42, a* value was 11.19±1.70, and b* valuewas 8.77±2.12; for the cheek skin color, L* value was 61.87±3.59, a* value was 7.21±1.29, and b* value was 12.98±1.64. L* value of thevermilion was negatively correlated with its a* value, positively correlated with its b* value, positively correlated with L* value of cheek skin andnegatively correlated with a* value of the cheek skin. a* value of the vermilion was positively correlated with a* value of the cheek skin. b*value of the vermilion was positively correlated with b* value of the cheek skin. L* value of the cheek skin was positively correlated with b*value of the vermilion, and negatively correlated with its a* value. a* value of the cheek skin was negatively correlated with b* value of thevermilion, and negatively correlated with its b* value. In summary, we preliminarily determine the colorimetric value range of the facial skin andvermilion, as well as their relevance, which provide a basis for prosthesis production and choice of colors in clinic.

RESUMO

The effective quality control in clinical practices is an effective guarantee for the authenticity and scientificity of the findings. The post-marketing reevaluation for traditional Chinese medicines (TCM) focuses on the efficacy, adverse reaction, combined medication and effective dose of drugs in the market by expanded clinical trials, and requires a larger sample size and a wider range of patients. Therefore, this increases the difficulty of quality control in clinical practices. With the experience in quality control in clinical practices for the post-marketing reevaluation for Kangbingdu oral for cold, researchers in this study reviewed the study purpose, project, scheme design and clinical practice process from an overall point of view, analyzed the study characteristics of the post-marketing reevaluation for TCMs and the quality control risks, designed the quality control contents with quality impacting factors, defined key review contents and summarized the precautions in clinical practices, with the aim to improve the efficiency of quality control of clinical practices. This study can provide reference to clinical units and quality control-related personnel in the post-marketing reevaluation for TCMs.

RESUMO

To effectively guarantee quality of randomized controlld trial (RCT) of acupuncture and develop reasonable content and checklist of on-site quality control, influencing factors on quality of acupuncture RCT are analyzed and scientificity of quality control content and feasibility of on-site manipulation are put into overall consideration. Based on content and checklist of on-site quality control in National 11th Five-Year Plan Project Optimization of Comprehensive Treatment Plan for TCM in Prevention and Treatment of Serious Disease and Clinical Assessment on Generic Technology and Quality Control Research, it is proposed that on-site quality control of acupuncture RCT should be conducted with PICOST (patient, intervention, comparison, out come, site and time) as core, especially on quality control of interveners' skills and outcome assessment of blinding, and checklist of on-site quality control is developed to provide references for undertaking groups of the project.

RESUMO

Objective: To observe the gingival color of healthy Han nationality in Shanghai, so as to discuss the gingival color distribution and its influencing factors. Methods: The Chroma Meter CR-321 was used to obtain the CIE-1976-L* a* b* value in predefined testing spots of gingiva in healthy Han nationality in Shanghai. The gingival color distribution and the influences of age, sex on the gingival color were summarized. Results: We found that the L* values of attached gingiva of the median line(P=0.0061), free gingiva of central incisor(P = 0.0324), attached gingiva in the root of central incisor (P=0.029 7), and distal incisor attached gingiva (P=0.0324) in the female were significantly higher than those in the male; the a* b* values in attached gingiva of median line (P = 0.0083, P = 0.0020) were significantly higher than those in male; and the other a*, b* values were similar between the males and females. The color difference ΔE between free gingiva and attached gingiva was > 2 (P<0.01). ΔL*2 had the greatest influence on ΔE, with the standardized regression coefficient being b' = 0.88216, followed by Δa*2 and Δb*2 in order, with b' being 0.23097 and 0.06632, respectively. L*, a*, and b* values had no obvious relation to age. Conclusion: It is indicated that sex and age have little influence on the color of gingiva in Han nationality in Shanghai. Obvious color difference exists between the free gingiva and the attatched gingiva.
