RESUMO

O presente trabalho buscou investigar, na produção científica de periódicos nacionais, estudos sobre práticas pedagógicas na capoeira, com a finalidade de compreender quais aspectos têm sido discutidos, suas possíveis contribuições e/ou dificuldades. Foram analisados 5.192 artigos, por meio de levantamento do tipo "estado da arte", sendo 0,9% referente à capoeira e, desses, 31,2% da área pedagógica. Concluiu-se que a capoeira ocupa lugar de destaque nos estudos sobre lutas, mas que a área pedagógica não é a mais valorizada dentro dos artigos sobre capoeira, o que resulta em pouco material para pensar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem, principalmente pelo motivo de nem sempre envolverem os personagens responsáveis por disseminar o conhecimento, como mestres e professores de capoeira (AU).


The present work focused on investigating studies on pedagogical practices in capoeira from the national scientific production, aiming to understand which aspects have been discussed, possible contributions and/or difficulties. A total of 5,192 articles were analyzed through a "state of the art" survey, with 0.9% referring to capoeira. Of these, only 31.2% were from the pedagogical area. It was concluded that capoeira occupies a prominent place among studies on fights, but the pedagogical area is not the most valued among articles on capoeira. This results in little material to think about the teaching and learning process, mainly because they not always involve the characters responsible for disseminating the knowledge, such as capoeira masters and teachers (AU).


El presente trabajo buscó investigar la produción científica de revistas nacionales, estudios sobre prácticas pedagógicas em capoeira, com el fin de compreender qué aspectos han sido discutidos, posibles contribuciones y/o dificultades. Um total de 5.192 artículos fueron analizados a través de una encuesta de "estado del arte", siendo el 0,9% referente a la capoeira y de estos, el 31,2% del área pedagógica. Se concluyó que la capoeira ocupa un lugar destacado en los estudios sobre peleas, pero que el área pedagógica no es la más valorada dentro de los artículos sobre capoeira, lo que resulta en poco material para pensar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, principalmente por no siempre involucrar los personajes encargados de difundir el conocimiento, como maestros y profesores de capoeira (AU).

Abstract Aim: The purpose of the study was to carry out a survey and analysis of the scientific production of judo, specifically the contents that discuss the principles and values of this sport, to understand the contexts of its production at the national and international levels. Methods: A "state of the art" literature review was used to analyze seven national journals of Physical Education and five specialized in the area of combat sports, from their first editions up until the year 2021. Results: The results indicated that judo production has grown mainly in the last decade. In both national and specialized journals, the analyzed productions (n = 69 and n = 410, respectively) were concentrated in biodynamics (57.97% and 72.93%), followed by the sociocultural (30.43% and 23.41%) and pedagogical areas (11.60% and 3.66%). Articles on principles and values accounted for only 8.35% of judo production, of which 47.50% were written entirely in English, 42.50% in Japanese with only abstracts in English, and a measly 10% in Portuguese, confirming the difficulty in finding information on the topic. This aridity may be the result of the technical-sports perspective that drives scientific research in the area of biodynamics and the language barriers of publications concentrated in English and Japanese. Conclusion: It is suggested that actions by the regulatory institutions be taken to encourage both research and greater access to the conceptual and attitudinal knowledge of judo, extrapolating the offer of bodily knowledge and approaching the democratic and integral educational process that is expected.
