RESUMO

【Objective】 Escherichia coli phage (ECP) and Staphylococcus aureus phage (SAP) isolated from sewage were used as research objects, and their biological characteristics were analyzed to provide new experimental materials for the application of phages. 【Methods】 ECP and SAP were purified and cultured by double-layer agar method. Then a series of biological characteristics of these two phages were preliminarily analyzed by electron microscope observation, optimal multiplicity of infection (MOI) test, one-step growth curve test, temperature, pH, chloroform and ultraviolet sensitivity tests, respectively. 【Results】 The results of biological characteristics showed that ECP and SAP were both virulent phages, belonging to myoviridac family. Their optimal MOI was 10-1, and they had strong resistance to ultraviolet light. The cleavage volume of ECP was 76.3 PFU/cell, while that of SAP was 8.3 PFU/cell. ECP had a wide range of temperature tolerance and could stably survive at 30-50 ℃, while SAP was more sensitive to temperature and could be completely inactivated at 50 ℃ for 1 h. ECP could maintain a good lysis activity in the range of pH 5-11, while SAP in the range of pH 6-9. ECP had strong resistance to chloroform and was non-membranous phage, while SAP was more sensitive to chloroform and was a membranous phage. 【Conclusion】 ECP and SAP are both virulent phages and have strong resistance to ultraviolet light. The lysability, temperature, pH, and chloroform tolerance of ECP are stronger than those of SAP.

RESUMO

Objective:We performed a meta-analysis examining outcomes of isolated tricuspid valve repair versus replacement. Methods:We searched PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CNKI, VIP database and WanFang database from the inception to September 30, 2021 for studies reporting outcomes of both isolated tricuspid valve repair and replacement, excluding congenital tricuspid aetiologies. Data were extracted and pooled using random-effects models and Review Manager 5.3 software. Results:A total of 18 articles were included, covering 10 023 patients, totalling 4 749 repairs and 5 274 replacements. Pooled operative mortality rates and odds ratios (95% confidence intervals) for isolated tricuspid repair and replacement surgery were 8.4% vs. 9.9%, OR=0.64(0.44, 0.93). Tricuspid repair was also associated with lower in-hospital acute renal failure 12.4% vs. 15.6%, OR=0.81(0.72, 0.92) and pacemaker implantation 7.9% vs. 26.4%, OR=0.24 (0.21, 0.30). There were no differences in rates of hospital stroke 14.4% vs. 10.3% , OR = 1.41 (0.98, 2.04) and late mortality rates 13.9% vs. 16.1%, OR=0.91(0.49, 1.69). Conclusion:Isolated tricuspid valve repair is associated with significantly reduced in-hospital mortality, renal failure and pacemaker implantation compared with replacement and is therefore recommended where feasible for isolated tricuspid valve disease.

RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted in 300 cases who received ultrasound-guided thyroid fine needles from January 2014 to April 2017 in the First People's Hospital of Xiaoshan District. The clinicopathological data of the puncture cells were compared with the histopathological results of 15 patients who agreed to undergo surgery. Results:The results of pathologically diagnosed as suspected malignant lesions, thyroiditis, cystic thyroid cysts, benign thyroid adenomas, the proportion of positive cell components were 7.67%, 20.00%, 12.67%, 1.33% and 46.67%, respectively. The overall positive cell rate was 88.33%.The sensitivity of US-FNAB for the diagnosis of malignant diseases was 50.00%(3/6), the specificity was 55.56%(5/9), the positive predictive value was 42.86%(3/7), and the negative predictive value was 62.50%(5/8), the false positive rate was 57.14%, and the false negative rate was 37.50%.Conclusion:Ultrasound-guided thyroid fine needle aspiration technology has an irreplaceable importance in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of thyroid disease.Because of its high accuracy and safety, which is worthy of promoting in medicine.

RESUMO

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of "Z"type aortic sinus angioplasty in acute Stanford A aortic dissection with severe aortic valve insufficiency .Methods A total of 384 cases of acute Stanford A aortic dissection were ana-lyzed retrospectively from January 2014 to March 2018 at Wuhan Asian Heart Hospital Great Vascular Center. There were 56 cases with severe aortic valve insufficiency, with 40 males and 16 females, aged 32-72 years old, averaged(53.92 ±9.26) years old.The root treatment of the 56 patients were all simulated with the "Z"type aortic sinus angioplasty technique, with 3 cases of distal semi-aortic arch replacement and 53 cases of total aortic arch replacement(placed with "trunk"stent). Results The average cardiopulmonary bypass time of all patients was(175.0 ±43.5)min, cross-clamp time was(133.3 ±31.9)min, and circulatory arrest time was(26.9 ±2.7)min.The degree of aortic valve regurgitation was 0-Ⅰin all patients after surger-y.Patients were followed-up 3 months to 4 years, the degree of aortic valve regurgitation of 45 cases was 0, 8 cases wasⅠ, and 3 cases wasⅡ.After operation, transesophageal ultrasonography immediately examined 2 cases with residual dissection of aor-tic sinus.Followed-up 1.5 years and 2.0 years respectively, no aneurysm was formed, and the diameter of the sinus of the aor-ta was 4.2 cm and 4.5 cm, respectively. No reoperation due to aortic valve regurgitation and sinus conditions was found during the follow-up.Conclusion The "Z"type aortic sinus angioplasty technique has a good clinical effect in acute Stanford A aor-tic dissection with severe aortic valve insufficiency. The operation is simple, safe and effective, easy to grasp and develop.
