Skill competition is part of experimental teaching and is also an important way to explore the reform of experiment teaching.These skills competition of medical microbiology and immunology hold three-stages,including thesis writing,competition of experimental skills and experimental report.It plays an important role in knowledge integration of medical microbiology and:mmunology,promotion of students' enthusiasm and initiative,cultivation of students' clinical thinking ability,scientific research consciousness and autonomous learning ability.

Effect of Comprehensive Chinese Medical Therapy of Chinese Herbal Medicine Fumigation, Massage and Quadriceps Exercise on Contents of Visfatin and Chemerin in Joint Fluid of Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis / 广州中医药大学学报

Objective To study the effect of comprehensive Chinese medicine therapy,including Chinese herbal medicine fumigation,massage,and quadriceps exercise,on adipokines of visfatin and chemerin content in joint fluid of patients with knee osteoarthritis (KOA),and to explore its possible therapeutic mechanism for KOA.Methods A total of 60 cases of KOA patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with comprehensive Chinese medicine therapy,and the control group was treated with Chinese medicine fumigation alone.After treatment for 2 weeks,the clinical efficacy of both groups was evaluated,and the changes in the scores of the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC)were observed.Moreover,the contents of visfatin and chemerin in jointfluid were examined.Results (1) The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.7％ and that of the control group was 83.3％,the difference being significant (P ＜ 0.01).(2) After treatment,WOMAC scores of both groups were obviously decreased(P ＜ 0.01 compared with those before treatment),and the decrease in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group (P ＜ 0.01).(3) The contents of visfatin and chemerint in joint synovial fluid of both groups were decreased (P ＜ 0.01 compared with those before treatment),and the decrease in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The comprehensive Chinese medicine therapy of Chinese herbal medicine fumigation,massage and quadriceps exercise is effective for the treatment of KOA,and can decrease the contents of visfatin and chemerin in joint fluid of KOA patients,which may be one of its therapeutic mechanisms.

The role of COX-2 and TNF-α expression in the remnant esophagus after esophagectomy for cancer / 中华胸心血管外科杂志

Objective To investigate the change of gastroesophageal reflux including acid reflux,duodenogastroesophageal reflux (DGER) and its effect on expression of COX-2 and TNF-α in the remnant esophagus in different period after esophagectomy for cancer.Methods Thirty-two patients who underwent esophagectomy for cancer were selected randomly.Twentyfour-hour pH and spectrometric bilirubin monitoring,endoscopy were periodically performed.Esophageal mucosa samples were obtained by endoscopic biopsy.Expression of COX-2 and TNF-α within remnant esophageal mucosa was detected using immunohistochemical assay.Results ( 1 ) The incidence of reflux esophagitis and extent of acid reflux gradually increased over time after surgery for cancer ( P ＜ 0.05 ).(2) Very low level of COX-2 and TNF-α expression was detected in normal esophageal squamous mucosa.The expression of COX-2 and TNF-α was observed in cytoplasm of basal cell of esophageal epithelium after esophagectomy for cancer.High intensity of COX-2 and TNF-α expression was detected in the metaplastic columnar mucosa.The level of TNF-α expression in the remnant esophagus where reflux esophagitis occurred was higher than that in the normal remnant esophagus ( P =0.0274 ).There was no significant difference in level of COX-2 expression in the remnant esophagus between reflux esophagitis occurred and not ( P =0.7403 ).Conclusion ( 1 ) The extent of acid reflux and incidence of esophagitis gradually increases over time.(2) The expression of COX-2 and TNF-α may represent an early change associated with gastroesophageal reflux.The expression of COX-2 may serve as a molecular marker of gastroesophageal reflux occurred.( 3 ) The durative expression TNF-α is likely involved with the pathogenesis of chronic reflux esophagitis.

Clinical observation of oral administration and external application of traditional Chinese medicine for treat meat early stage of osteofascial compartment syndrome / 中国基层医药

ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect of oral administration and external application of traditional Chinese medicine on early stage of osteofascial compartment syndrome. Methods56 early osteofascial compartment syndrome patients had assigned in two groups randomly, each group had 28 patients. The treatment group used topo-application Xiaoyu tincture,after aseptic gauze sodden by physic liquor,affected limb would coverd by the aseptic gauze and change of dressing every two hours,oral administration of Xingqihuayu decoction. The control group used 250ml of 20％ mannitol with dehydration therapy,two times everyday;654-2 bullet 10ml to intramuscular injection,three times every day. ResultsAfter the treatment,the results showed that the treatment group was much better than the control group at the time of ache abatement,swelling regression and disappear of all levels injury, arteriae dorsalis pedis changing. The difference had statistical significance( P ＜ 0.05). ConclusionTopo-application chinese drugs pharmaceutics of Xiaoyu tincture and oral administration of Xingqihuayu decoction was a available nonspecific treatment to early osteofascial compartment syndrome.

The clinical effect of SMA Concentrator and Tension Band Fixation for the Treatment of Patellar Comminuted Facture / 中国基层医药

Objective To compare the clinical effect between SMA concentrator and tension band internal fixation for the treatment of patellar comminuted facture. Methods Retrospective analysis of 132 cases of patellar fracture surgery patients,72 cases of them with internal fixation by SMA concentrator,the other 60cases with tension band internal fixation. Results All patients were followed up for 6 to 16 months. The recovery rate of sma concertrator was 95.8% and that of tension hard internal fixation was 88. 3%. Conclusion Using SMA concentrator to treat patellar comminuted fracture was a better treatment.

The study of gastroesophageal reflux after esophagectomy for cancer / 中华胸心血管外科杂志

Objective Endoscopy, 24-hour esophageal pH monitoring were used to objectively estimate the extent of gastroesophageal reflux and affecting factor after esophagectomy for cancer. Methods Endoscopy, 24 hour pH monitoring were performed in thirty-nine patients, including 21 undergoing esophagogastrostomy above the aortic arch (group A) and 18 below the aortic arch (group B). Results (1) DeMeeter score of gastroesophageal reflux in group A was significantly higher than that in group B in different postoperative period (P0.05). Conclusion Thoracic anastomosis in the lower thorax is more likely to be followed by gastroesophageal reflux and esophagitis. There is no significant change in extent of gastroesophageal reflux over time.
