RESUMO

Seed quality plays an important role in the agricultural and animal husbandry production, the effective utilization of genetic resources, the conservation of biodiversity and the restoration and reconstruction of plant communities. Seed aging is a common physiological phenomenon during storage. It is a natural irreversible process that occurs and develops along with the extension of seed storage time. It is not only related to the growth, yield and quality of seed and seedling establishment, but also has an important effect on the conservation, utilization and development of plant germplasm resources. The physiological mechanisms of seed aging are complex and diverse. Most studies focus on conventional physiological characterization, while systematic and comprehensive in-depth studies are lacking. Here we review the recent advances in understanding the physiology of seed aging process, including the methods of seed aging, the effect of aging on seed germination, and the physiological and molecular mechanisms of seed aging. The change of multiple physiological parameters, including seed vigor, electrical conductivity, malondialdehyde content and storage material in the seed, antioxidant enzyme activity and mitochondrial structure, were summarized. Moreover, insights into the mechanism of seed aging from the aspects of transcriptome, proteome and aging related gene function were summarized. This study may facilitate the research of seed biology and the conservation and utilization of germplasm resources.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the rules and characteristics of adverse drug reactions(ADR)induced by Shuxuetong in-jection,and provide reference for clinical rational drug use. METHODS:ADR cases induced by Shuxuetong injection in Beijing collected by national ADR monitoring center in 2012 were retrieved, and 35 cases of the ADR were statistically analyzed. RE-SULTS:ADR induced by Shuxuetong injection had relatively high incidence in elder over 60 years old(68.57%);ADR might oc-curred after 5 min with off-label use and it mainly occured after 10 min-2 h(40.00%);clinical manifestations were mainly systemic damage and nervous system damage, and all patients were returned to normal after symptomatic treatment except one with unclear outcome. CONCLUSIONS:ADR induced by Shuxuetong injection is related to age and dosage. Clinical medication should be strict-ly in accordance with the instructions, strengthen medication monitoring and reduce incidence of ADR to ensure medication safety.

RESUMO

PurposeTo investigate the multi-slice spiral CT features of lung primary invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma, a rare malignancy with few relevant literature. Materials and Methods Forty-one patients with pathology proven primary invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma of the lungs underwent MSCT examination, of which 27 patients received intravenous contrast. Imaging features were analyzed, and the patients were divided into groups according to morphology, density and enhancement. Results For 41 patients, 40 cases had one lesion, and one case had more than one lesion; the lesions were in the right upper lobe in 5 cases, right middle lobe in one case, right lower lobe in 17 cases, left upper lobe in 5 cases, and left lower lobe in 12 cases. There was solitary lesion in 40 cases. The other patient had multiple lesions. 29 cases showed nodules/masses, while non-mass lesions in 12 cases. Ground glass opacity was seen in 4 cases, single consolidation in 11 cases, and mixed consolidation in 26 cases. There was significant contrast enhancement in nodules/masses compared to non-mass lesions (t=5.00, 6.51 and 14.06,P<0.05).Conclusion MSCT shows a diversity of imaging features of primary invasive mucinous adenocarcinom, including single round lesion, lower lobe in both side; the density is lower than muscle on CT scan, and presents mild to moderate enhancement on enhancement scan round lesions has high density and enhancement range than irregular-shaped lesions.

RESUMO

PurposeTo discuss the imaging features of multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) and PET/CT in lymphoma with pulmonary lesions as the initial presentation.Materials and Methods Eighteen cases of lymphoma with pulmonary lesions as initial presentation confirmed by operation and pathology were retrospectively analyzed including Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) in 3 cases and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) in 15 cases. All 18 patients underwent MSCT, of which 11 also underwent PET/CT. The MSCT manifestations included number of lesions, morphology, density and bronchial change. PET/CT evaluated lesions in other body parts and SUVmax of lung lesions. Results MSCT showed single lung lesion in 6 cases, multiple lung lesions in 12 cases. Masses were seen in 9 cases, non-masses in 7 cases, and mixed type in 2 cases. There was single consolidation in 3 cases and mixed consolidation in 15 cases. Air bronchogram was identified in 15 cases. CT predictive diagnosis was lymphoma in 3 cases, lung cancer in 5 cases, pneumonia in 7 cases, granuloma in 1 patient, and indeterminate in 2 cases. PET/CT showed hypermetabolic lung lesions in 11 patients, mediastinal lymph node in 3 cases, and unilateral supraclavicular lymphadenopathy in 1 case. One patient showed pancreatic tail masses, gastric wall thickening and haunch masses. All 11 patients were diagnosed as malignant tumor, of which 8 cases as lymphoma. Conclusion MSCT manifestations of lymphoma with pulmonary lesions as initial presentation include multiple lesions, polymorphic type and heterogeneity with air bronchogram. PET/CT has better accuracy than MSCT.

RESUMO

Objective To construct shifting mutant of cysteine-rich region to 3?@terminal of Tat gene of human immunodeficiency virus type-1 (HIV-1) HXB2 strain, and to analyze the immunogenicity of mutant protein (Tat-cct) after prokaryotically expressed and purified. Methods The cysteine-rich region (nucleotides 64--111) of Tat gene was shifted to 3'terminal of Tat of HIV-1 HXB2 strain by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and Tat mutant DNA sequence was obtained. Prokaryotie express plasmid pET32a-Tat-cct was constructed and transformed into E. coli BL21 (DE3), then Tat-cct protein was expressed and purified. BALB/c mice were immunized with the fusion protein Tat-cct, and immunogenicity of the immunized serum was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results The recombinant plasmid pET32a-Tat-cct expressed in E. coli BL21 (DE3) and the relative molecular mass of the purified fusion protein was 31 000. The serum antibody titer of mice immunized with Tat-cct recombinant protein was 1 : 1600, which binded specifically with both Tat-ect protein and Tat protein (amino acids 1-101). Conclusions The recombinant protein Tat-cct of Tat mutant strain can be expressed efficiently in E. coli and well retains immunogenicity, which provides valuable information for basic research of HIV-1 Tat vaccine.
