RESUMO

Objective:To evaluate the teaching effect of multi-disciplinary integrated training program on the open comprehensive training room to improve the post competency of medical imaging students. Methods:A total of 122 residential students of five-year medical imaging from Batch 2014 of The First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College were divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group carried out the multi-disciplinary open comprehensive training program, and the control group carried out open-ended exercises. The comprehensive discipline theory examination, assessment of clinical thinking and comprehensive skill appraisal, and satisfaction questionnaire results were compared between the two groups. SPSS 23.0 was used for t test. Results:①Comprehensive discipline theory examination scores were higher in experimental group than the control group [(80.33±3.70) vs. (74.56±5.09)], with statistical differences ( P<0.05). ②Experimental group scored higher in clinical thinking and comprehensive skills than the control group did, and the difference was statistically significant [(87.58±3.15) vs. (74.52±3.66), P<0.05]. ③The questionnaire investigation showed that the experimental group students did better in improving autonomous learning ability, expression ability, the team cooperation ability, the ability to find and fix problems and the degree of self-esteem than control group, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The multi-disciplinary open comprehensive training program has a good effect on optimizing the open-ended exercises. Students' knowledge of multi-disciplinary comprehensive theoretical knowledge and imaging skills have been improved, and the ability of teamwork, problem-solving ability, self-learning ability and innovation ability required by the core competence of the profession have been developed and improved, which meets the modern medical treatment of education "to create an educational platform of medical education collaboration and multi-disciplinary integration, and to cultivate students' innovative and autonomous learning."

RESUMO

Objective:To explore the significance of multiple detector spiral CT multi-phase enhanced scan in differentiating liver tumors. Methods: A total of 141 patients, during from March 2011 to May 2015 in our hospital, pathologically diagnosed as liver tumors were selected to undergo multiple detector spiral CT multi-phase enhanced scan. The different performances and results in CT plain and enhanced scan for diagnosing liver cancer were observed and the sensitivity of CT multi-phase enhanced scan was analyzed. Results: 93 cases were found in CT plain scan; 141 cases were found in the arterial phase, 112 cases were found in portal venous phase and 108 cases were found in extension period in CT multi-phase enhanced scan. The lesion detection rate of CT plain scan was significantly lower than whichever of CT multi-phase enhanced scan(P<0.05); under CT multi-phase enhanced scan, the majority of lesions were typical imaging and could be diagnosed. Using CT multi-phase enhanced scan, the sensitivity of hemangiomas was 88.9%, abscess was 71.4%, focal nodular hyperplasia was 83.3%, primary liver cancer was 81.6%, and liver metastases was 97.8%; the total accuracy was 88.7%.Conclusion: The multiple detector spiral CT multi-phase enhanced scan can accurately identify liver tumor lesion stages, and it can contribute to further clinical treatment.

RESUMO

Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of MSCT for small intestinal stromal tumors. Methods: The MSCT results of 27 cases diagnosed pathologically as small intestinal stromal tumors were retrospectively analyzed. Results: MSCT scan could clearly show the position, size, shape, fat space, density, calcification, growth pattern of the lesions. Enhanced MSCT scan showed that the arterial phase was significantly strengthened, the venous phase was significantly enhanced than the arterial phase, and the delay phase was significantly enhanced than the venous phase. Low-risk tumors were mainly with maximum diameter <5 cm, regular shape, clear fat gap, uniform density, and intraluminal growth-oriented, while high-risk tumors were mainly with maximum diameter ≥5cm, irregular shape, blur fat gap, uneven density, and cavity shape and mixed growth. The differences were statistically significant (x2=6.64,P<0.05).Conclusion:MSCT can be used as a preliminary judgement for benign and malignant small intestinal stromal tumors and its level, which can guide further clinical treatment and prognosis evaluation.
