RESUMO

Objective To analyze the relationship of carotid artery atherosclerosis and cerebral infarction. Methods Color Doppler flow imaging was used to investigate carotid artery intima-medium thickness(IMT) and ca-rotid artery plaque in patients with cerebral infarction and health people. Results In 38 patients with cerebral infarc-tion,IMT increase was found in 29 cases and carotid artery plaque was observed in 38 cases(76.3%). In 20 health people,IMT increase was found in 3 cases and carotid artery plaque was observed in 3 cases(15.0%) ,those of two groups were significantly different. Conclusion Cerebral infarction is related "with carotid artery plaque. Color Doppler flow ultrasound is a convenient and effective method to investigate carotid artery plaque, which is important to prevent the onset of cerebral infarction.

RESUMO

Objective To study diagnostic value of color Doppler Ultrasonic (CDU)examination in lower ex-tremity venous diseases. Methods 43 patients with lower extremity venous disease were examined by CDU. Results It was found that there were 23 cases to have the completely deep venous hrombosis, of those, 11 casas had the great saphenous venous thrombosis, 1 cases femoropoplitea venous thrombosis and 6 cases lower extremity vein valve iusuffi-ciency,and 14 cases partial venous thrombosis. Conclusion The CDU is a safe and rapid diagnosis method for lower extremity venous diseases. It is repeatability.
