RESUMO
Many studies have shown that abnormal expression and modification of lamin are closely related to aging.Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome(HGPS)is a rare and severe premature aging disease caused by mutations in the gene encoding nuclear envelope proteins of A-type lamins (LMNA).The pathogenesis of HGPS is similar to the aging process of normal individuals, thus research on HGPS will be helpful for understanding the mechanisms of senescence and developing antiaging drugs. This paper reviews recent advances in lamin and the pathogenesis and treatment of HGPS,in order to provide a reference for further basic and clinical research on HGPS.
RESUMO
@#Objective To observe the effect of early rehabilitation training combined with continuous passive motion (CPM) on knee joint function after total knee arthroplasty (TKA).Methods23 patients (28 knees) post TKA were randomly divided into the treatment group (15 knees) and control group (13 knees). The patients of the treatment group were treated with early rehabilitation training combined with CPM, and those of the control group were treated with CPM only.ResultsThe scores of knee grade and function grade of the treatment group were not different from those of the control group before treatment ( P>0.05), but two weeks later, there was a significnat difference between two groups ( P<0.01).ConclusionThe early rehabilitation training combined with CPM can improve recovery of function of knee joint after TKA.
RESUMO
Objective To observe the effect of serum containing Qingluo Tongbi Granula (QTG) on proliferation of fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLS) and receptor activator of nuclear factor-?B ligand (RANKL) expression in FLS from patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods Synovial specimens obtained from the joint of patients were minced into small pieces for the culture of FLS.The morphological features of FLS subcultrued for 3~5 generations were observed under inverted microscope and electron microscope. The effect of QTG-containing serum on the proliferation of FLS was examined by MTT assay. The expression of RANKL in FLS was assessed by RT-PCR.Results After cocultured by serum containing large-dose QTG for 72 hours, proliferation of FLS and expression of RANKL were inhibited. Conclusion QTG can inhibit FLS proliferation, and reduce the expression of RANKL,which may be one of the therapeutic mechanisms of QTG for rheumatoid arthritis.
