RESUMO

Non-hodgkinian's lymphoma [NHL] represents 0.04 to 0.53% of all breast cancers. The clinical aspects and therapeutic models of the disease are a subject of debate. The purpose of this paper is to report the clinical, imaging [sonographic, mammographic and MRI] and pathological features of breast lymphoma, a rare but aggressive tumor, based on a case report review. We report a case of primary non-hodgkinian's lymphoma of the breast in one patient aged of 52 years. The patient weart to a systematic screening of breast cancer. Physical examen was normal. Mammography showed breast with transitional density, BIRADS type 2, micro-calcifications behin the .... but sometimes it had linear ...., neither not distorsion were identified. Ultrasonography did not show a tumor. The disease was revealed by breast MRI. The additional value of MRI in diagnosis is validated in our patient. In fact, when cancer is occult, size evaluation is difficult at standard imaging [7mm]. The diagnosis of non-hodgkinian's lymphoma was confirmed on histological examination of tumor biopsies. It was a B-cell non-Hodgkins-type lymphoma. The clinical features have been reviewed and the tumor have been evaluated both on a morphologic and an immunohistochemical basis. With chemotherapy, the course was favourable. The breast is an uncommon site of development of malignant lymphomas. Secondary disease is more common than the primitive form. Primary breast lymphoma is a difficult diagnosis because it is very rare. The diagnosis is mainly histological. Chemotherapy is the principal therapeutic mean. Treatment combines radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Prognosis is generally bad

RESUMO

Short rib polydactyly syndromes [SRPS] are a group of inherited autosomal recessive skeletal dysplasias. It is characterized by the triad of micromelia, polydactyly and short horizontal ribs with or without visceral involvement. We reported the case of a recurrent Majewski's syndrome

RESUMO

We report a study of 13 pregnant women with epilepsy over a 5-year period The mean age was 28 years [Range :20-36 years].Eight women had grand mal seizures [generalized tonic-clonic seizures]. All women were receiving anticonvulsivant therapy before pregnancy, whose 08 under monotherapy and 05 under bitherapy. Phenobarbital is largely the must used for 10 women. During pregnancy, an increase in seizure frequency was noticed in 07 cases and antiepileptic doses were increased to the clinic in 05 cases and 02 patients required the association of other anticonvulsivants. Thirty babies were born at term of which 03 by forceps and 02 by caesarean section. There where no cases of neonatal hemorrhage or per natal death. Symptoms of drug impregnation were found in 04 cases. pregnancy doesn't have a catastrophic effect on the course of epilepsy apart from the risk of an increase in the frequency of the fits. This risk must be reduced thanks to an optimal use of an anticonvulsive therapy before and during pregnancy

RESUMO

We report the case of a woman in her 38[th] week of pregnancy who was brought by the SAMU in a state of shock following a car accident. She was a multiple trauma case with lesions over the face, the abdomen, a left femur fracture and metrorrhagia. The abdominal ultrasound revealed the presence of an important hemoperitoneum and absence of the fetal heart sounds. The surgical exploration found a ruptured uterus and an intra peritoneal dead fetus. A conservative treatment was done in this primipara and the post surgical evolution was good

RESUMO

Maldevelopment of the Mullerian duct system may result in various urogenital anomalies including didelphic uterus with a hypoplastic cervix and obstructed hemivagina. We report a patient with this anamoly who was treated by laporoscopic hemi-hysterectomy and hysteroscopic resection of hemivagina. A 16 year old patient who had complained of vaginal pus-like discharge on and off for 1 year was diagnosed by MRI to have a double uterus with obstructed right hemivagina and ipsilateral renal agenesis. After hysteroscopic identification of hypoplasia of the right uterine cervix, laparoscopic resection of the right uterus and right fallopian tube and hysteroscopically assisted resection of the vaginal septa were performed successfully. We think that combined laparoscopy and hysteroscopy may be an efficacious alternative in the management and diagnosis of Mullerian anomalies

RESUMO

The occurrence of venous insufficiency during pregnancy is often neglected by patients until occurrence of complications or repercussion of varicose veins. The treatment is than more difficult to establish and outcomes have less positive issues. The understanding of true mechanisms and pathogens of venous insufficiency during pregnancy especially those inherent of symptomatology permit to institute at time prevent treatment consisting on contention and hygiene of life

RESUMO

We studied five cases of monochorial pregnancies complicated by a single intrauterine death. Our purpose was to evaluate the contribution of MR imaging in the evaluation of perinatal hypoxic-ischemic cerebral injury in the surviving twin compared with ante and postnatal ultrasonography findings. Intrauterine death of one twin occurred at a mean of 28 week's gestation. MRI was performed three weeks after. In all cases, there was no neurological lesions. MR findings were always confirmed by the postnatal follow-up [examination and ultrasonography]
