Clinical observation of acupoint application therapy on senile female bladder neck obstruction / 中国针灸

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To observe the clinical efficacy on senile female bladder neck obstruction treated with acupoint application, therapy and western medication.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Fifty cases of senile female bladder neck observation were randomized into an obstrvation group and a control group, 25 cases in each one. Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules were taken orally in the two groups, 0.2 mg every night, continuously for 100 days. In the observation group, with radix aconiti lateralis preparata, semen brassicae and fructus ligustri lucidi contained, bushentongyu plaster was used at Shenque (CV 8), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Pangguangshu (BL 28), Zhongji (CV 3) and Sanjiaoshu (BL 22), once every two days. Eight treatments made one session and 6 sessions were required totally. The international prostate symptom score (IPSS), the bother score (BS), the residual volume (RV) and the maximal urinary flow rate (MFR) were observed before and after treatment in the two groups. The clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Every score in IPSS after treatment was reduced apparently as compared with that before treatment in the two groups (all P < 0.01). The improvements in feeling of incomplete, bladder emptying, intermittency < 2 h, urgency, interupted urination and nocturia in the observation group were more advantageous than those in the control group (all P < 0.05). The total effective rate was 95.65% (22/23) in the observation group, higher than 85.71% (18/21) in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, RV, MFR and BS were significantly different as compared with those before treatment (all P < 0.05).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The combined therapy of acupoint application of bushentongyu plaster and oral administration of tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules achieves the significant efficacy on senile female bladder neck obstruction as compared with the simple administration of tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules.</p>

The effect of cream of bedsore on the treatment of severe bedsore / 国际外科学杂志

Objective To study the effect of cream of bedsore on the treatment of severe bedsore.Method One hundred and twenty patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ,respecially 40 patients,given systemic treatment.Results The decubitus wound healing of treatment group was significantly better than the other two groups,the total effective rate being 85%,P ＜ 0.01.In the treatment group,pathogenic bacteria culture positive rate on decubitus wound was significantly lower than the two control groups,inhibition rate being 78%,P ＜ 0.05.Staphylococcus aureus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Escherichia coli and so on were inhibited.Conclusions In the treatment group,bedsore healing ointment was significantly better than Western medicine used in the control groups.It can improve the microcirculation of the blood perfusion,promote the establishment of collateral circulation,increase the affected area nutrition,improve the local tissue ischemia,hypoxia-induced metabolic disorders,and remove the necrotic tissue,and promote tissue repair and regeneration,the granulation growing,and the effect of epithelial healing.

Nipple discharge is one of main symptoms about breast disease.Furthermore,the haematodes nipple discharge is earlier clinical manifestation of breast duct cancer.How to make diagnosis about the dis-ease of nipple discharge better,especially the early diagnosis of breast duct cancer,is the responsibility of breast specialists.There are several usual examinations about breast,but they are below the mark about some breast disease which have no lump or have minimal changes.Whole breast ultrasonic scanning and breast ultrasound computer-assisted diagnose system make the diagnosis of the disease of nipple discharge better than before in recent years.3D-reestablishment of this diagnose system can make doctor conveniently observe the disease in spatial position and know the relationgshep between disease and peripheric tissue.In this way,doctor can definit the property of disease more exactly and make early diagnosis of breast tumor more easier.

Early post-operative effect of enteral nutrition fluids support for colon cancer / 国际外科学杂志

Objective To explore more reasonable way of early post-operative effect of enteral nutrition fluids support for colon cancer.Methods A total of 86 case of colon cancer were selected and assigned to enteral nutrition group(EN n=45)and parenteral nutrition group(PN n=41)randomly.Parameters inclu ding the body wetght,IsA,IgM,lymphocyte,human serum prealbumin and albumen were monitored on three days before operation,the fifth,and eighth days after operation.Results The IgA,IgM,lympho cyte,human serum prealbumin and albumen levels of patients in EN group were much higher than that in PN group on the fifth and eighth days after operation(P＜0.05).Also IgA,lgM levels of EN group patients were almost higher than that in PN group on eighth day after operation(P＜0.01).Concusions It showed that to perform enteral nutrient supports for patients of colon cancer during early post-operative could increase their gut immunity after operation and reduce the complications and raise human serum prealbumin and albu men of them for their body recovery.

Diagnosis and treatment experiences on 35 cases of closed abdominal injury / 国际外科学杂志

Objective To detect the clinical significance of diagnosis and treatment on closed abdominal injury patients. Methods We retrospectively analysed the clinical data of 35 patients,who were diagnosed to closed abdominal injury and treated in our hospital from 2003 to 2008. Results Thirty-four cases were cured greatly in the 35 patients. The cure rate was 97.1%. One case, who was diagnosed as liver rupture and intracranial haematoma, was dead because of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. The mortality was 2. 9%. Conclusions It is the key to succesful treatment of closed abdominal injury to make proper diagno-sis, give timely surgical treatment and choose the right way for operation; We must correctly handle the prob-lems of bleeding, organization infection and repairment.
