Objective@#To explore the relationship between attitudes towards disability and depression in hearing impaired college students,and to provide a basis for the mental health development of disabled college students.@*Methods@#A six-month two stage longitudinal follow-up study was conducted among 325 hearing impaired college students in a college of special education in Jilin Province, by using the World Health Organization attitudes towards disabilitys Scales and the Self-rating Depression Scale.@*Results@#The results of correlation analysis showed that disability attitudes was negatively correlated with depression at both time points(r=-0.39，-0.24，P<0.01); The results of cross lag regression analysis showed that T1 attitudes towards disability had a negative predictive effect on T2 depression(β=-0.30，P<0.01), while T1 depression had no significant predictive effect on T2 attitudes towards disability (β=-0.02，P=0.78). There was no significant gender difference in the interaction between attitudes towards disability and depression in hearing impaired college students(Δχ2=6.94，Δdf=8，P=0.54).@*Conclusion@#Attitudes towards disability of hearing impaired college students is closely related to depression,disability attitudes can negatively predict depression, and there is no significant gender difference.
