RESUMO

Hydration status refers to the balance between the intake and discharge of water in the body. When the ingested and discharged water are roughly equal and the body is in water balance, it is the normal hydration status, and when the water intake is too little or too much, it is the "dehydration" or "overhydration status". The hydration status of the body not only affects metabolism, but also affects the functions of the urinary system, cardiovascular system, nervous system, etc. In order to further clarify the relationship between body hydration status and decompression sickness (DCS), this paper reviewed relevant studies and analyzed the interaction between hydration and decompression safety during diving. The primary causes of dehydration in diving are "hyperbaric diuresis", "immersion diuresis", breathing dry gas, heat, and cold. Dehydration not only promotes the occurrence of DCS but also reduces the aerobic work efficiency and athletic performance of divers, as well as affects cognition and mood. A study found that appropriate rehydration before and during diving can reduce the risk of DCS, which possibly associates with the increase of blood volume, plasma surface tension, and vasoconstriction. Fluid therapy is also important for those who already have DCS. This paper analyzed the amount, nature, timing, and effect of rehydration involved in the above links, comprehensively sorted out the relationship between hydration and diving safety, summarized the existing problems, and provided reference for practical application and future research.

RESUMO

Objective To research the current problems in graduate education administration of military medical university, a questionnaire survey was made. Aimed at the actual needs of students, coun-termeasures and suggestions were put forward. Methods Using self-compiled questionnaire, we investigated the physical and mental state of postgraduate students and the attitude to graduate advisor, scientific re-search and management system in a military medical university during from October 2016 to January 2017. Data processing and statistical analysis were used by SPSS 23.0, and the data of different categories of students were compared by chi square test. Results 320 questionnaires were distributed and 309 valid questionnaires were collected. The recovery rate was 96.5%. 95.8% of graduate students (315 people) gen-erally recognized the patterns and manage effectiveness of graduate advisor and management unit. 70.9%(219 people) were satisfied with current graduate life. 73.5% (227 people) were also able to maintain a good mood and mentality. 78.7% (243 people) felt the high pressure of research and 91.2% (282 people) were satisfied with their mentor. There was a statistically significant difference in the overall evaluation of student team management among students of different source categories (P=0.002), and there was a statistically significant difference in frequency of monthly communication with tutors among different majors ( P=0.002). Conclusion The graduate students in the university are currently able to adapt to the overall man-agement system. However, we should strengthen the targeted management according to the categories of students, strengthen students' psychological counseling work, deepen their life and find unstable factors in time, and coordinate the management of tutors and student teams, so that scientific research and organiza-tional management complement each other.

RESUMO

Objective To establish a swine model of diving decompression sickness (DCS) for applied basic research. Methods Six Bama miniature pigs underwent a simulated diving in DWC150 animal chamber with the profile of 600 kPa (30 min) exposure, followed by 600-500 kPa (1 min), 500-400 kPa (1.5 min), 400-300 kPa (2 min), 300-200 kPa (2.5 min) and 200-100 kPa (3 min) decompression. The limb motor function was detected by animal treadmill and the evoked potential of spinal cord was tested jointly to evaluate spinal cord injury of DCS. The amount of bubbles and cardio-pulmonary function were assessed by ultrasonography. The evolution of skin symptoms was observed and blood index was collected. A set of evaluating parameters were screened considering the overall behavior, histopathology, circulation and neurophysiology, bubble generation and inflammation response. Results The DCS incidence was 100% (6/6) in the present research and there was no animal death. Evoked potential and motor function underwent significant change after decompression. Cardiac ultrasonography detected substantial amount of bubbles in the venous system and the pulmonary artery index was changed. Typical skin lesions appeared. White blood cells and platelets were reduced, and the amount of D-dimer was increased. Congestion and bleeding were noticed in the lung and spinal cord. The changes of the above indicators could objectively reflect the DCS injuries, and could be used to set up an evaluation system for swine model of DCS. Conclusion Bama miniature pigs are ideal animals for DCS modelling.

RESUMO

ABSTRACT In order to establish an optimal soybean embryonic tip regeneration system that can serve as soybean genetic transformation receptor, and be used for the study of genetic function verification, the influences of single factor on the adventitious bud of embryonic tip induction, elongation and rooting stage, are researched and compared. The single factors includes seeds soaking time, different kinds of hormones, different concentration of hormone and different concentration of sucrose. By one-way ANOVA and LSD ad hoc test , the results show that, for the embryonic tip adventitious bud induction stage, 12h is the optimal seeds soaking time, 2.0mg·L-1 is the optimal concentration of 6-Benzyl Aminopurine(6-BA), for the embryonic tip adventitious bud elongation stage, 0.2mg·L-1 indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) is optimal and 2.0mg·L-1Gibberellic acid (GA3) is optimal, and for the adventitious bud of embryonic tip rooting stage, 2.0mg·L-1 IBA is optimal, the average rooting rate is 93.34%. An Optimal embryonic tip regeneration system is established, and optimum mediums in different stages are found.

RESUMO

Abnormal genome hypermethylation participates in the tumorigenesis and development of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer cells highly express DNA methyltransferase 3 (DMNT3) family genes, essential for maintaining genome methylation. In the present study, multi-target siRNA, based on the homologous region of the DNMT3 family, was designed for the in vitro investigation of its effects on the proliferation, migration, and invasion of TSU-PR1 prostate cancer cells. The consequential cell-cycle derangement, through DNMT3A/B or only DNMT3B silencing, was partially efficient, without affecting apoptosis. DNMT3A silencing had absolutely no effect on changing TSU-PR1 cell biological behavior. Hence, DNMT3B alone apparently plays a key role in maintaining the unfavorable behavior of prostate-cancer cells, thereby implying its potential significance as a promising therapeutic target, with DNMT3A simply in the role of helper.

RESUMO

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To compare two different procedures of colostomy in the laparoscopic- assisted abdominoperineal resection(LAPR), and to reduce the related complications of colostomy.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Sixty- three cases with anorectal cancer undergone LAPR from June 2001 to December 2005 were registered and followed up. Circular stapler anastomosis with sigmoid colon and abdominal skin were applied on 61 cases of the colostomy, and 2 cases were hand sutured. All patients were assigned to group A and B. Thirty- seven cases received the procedure of colostomy through the rectus abdominis peritoneally in group A,other 26 cases through extraperitoneal tunnel and the rectus abdominis in group B.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Descending colon, sigmoid colon and rectum were dissected using laparoscopic instruments in 63 cases. No conversion to open procedure and no operative death occurred in two groups of patients. There was no significant difference between two groups in mean operation time, but significant differences were found in the time of return of bowl function[A group (2.4 +/- 1.1)d vs B group (1.9 +/- 0.8)d,P < 0.05], duration of postoperative hospital stay [A group (19.9 +/- 7.8)d vs B group (14.5 +/- 3.9)d,P < 0.01] and stoma related complications(A group 29.4% vs B group 4.0%,P < 0.05). Postoperative hospital stay were shorter, and less colostomy related complications were found in group B.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Colostomy through extraperitoneal tunnel and the rectus abdominis is a better procedure in LAPR, which can reduce the related complications of colostomy and shorten postoperative hospital stay.</p>
