RESUMO
Sixty full-term pregnant females were included, they were enrolled into 3 groups, each of 20 cases. Group I included cases with breech presentation, group II included cases with a previous lower segment CS, while group III included primigravidae with a floating head. Computed tomographic [CT] pelvimetry was done at 40 weeks +/- 2 weeks to assess pelvic adequacy and fetal attitude for making decision for the active management of labor. Cases with pelvimetric inadequacy were subjected to an elective CS, while those with pelvimetric adequacy were offered a trial labor. All deliveries were accomplished with neither maternal nor fetal mortality or morbidity. CT pelvimetry proved to be accurate, simple and safe procedure in this context with reduced hazards of fetal exposure to radiation

Antisperm antibodies were analyzed in 100 unexplained infertile couples. A gelatin agglutination test [GAT] and sperm immobilization test [SIT] were performed in the sera, seminal plasma and cervical mucus samples. Agglutinating antibodies were revealed in 8% and 6% in male serum and seminal plasma, respectively, with a significant positive correlation, while immobilizing antibodies were revealed in 8% and 4% of the male sera and seminal plasma, respectively. On the other h and, the agglutinating antibodies were found in 9% and 3% in the female sera and cervical mucus, while immobilizing antibodies were found in 9% and 12% in the female sera and cervical mucus indicating the local ability of the human cervix to secrete antisperm antibodies
