RESUMO

La Intervención Temprana en los niños Síndrome de Down es una actividad cuya práctica va encaminada al logro de su bienestar, favoreciendo la comunicación con el mundo social y tratando de conseguir su adaptación en el ambiente en que se desenvuelve su vida. Por ello, se realizó el presente artículo monográfico teniendo como objetivo reflexionar sobre la importancia que tiene la Intervención Temprana, en términos de inserción social a niños con Síndrome de Down y en la interrelación Down- Familia-Comunidad desde una perspectiva sociológica. Se consideró que cuando se logra una atención exhaustiva y oportuna, las orientaciones y ayudas que reciben las familias, que tienen un niño con Síndrome de Down, resulta beneficiosa para el desarrollo sicomotor y social del mismo. En este sentido, la atención sociológica que se brinda al Síndrome de Down no debe excluir a la familia y, por ende, a la comunidad. Más investigaciones sobre este tema son necesarias.


The Early Intervention in the children with Syndrome of Down is an activity which practice is directed to the achievement of his well-being, favoring the communication with the social world and trying to obtain his adaptation in the ambience in which his life is unrolled. For it, the present monographic article was realized having as target to reflect on the importance that has the Early Intervention, in terms of social insertion to children with Syndrome of Down and in the interrelation Down - Family - Community from a sociological perspective. It was considered that when there is achieved an exhaustive and opportune attention, the orientations and helps that there receive the families, which have a child with Syndrome of Down, it turns out to be beneficial for the development sicomotor and socially of the same one. In this sense, the sociological attention that is offered to the Syndrome of Down must not exclude the family and, for ende, to the community. More investigations on this topic are necessary.
