RESUMO
The static creep values of two different amalgam and four different composites used in posterior teeth were investigated. The test was done under compressive load and the creep percentage was calculated after four hours. The creep of high copper amalgam was higher than conventional amalgam. The light cured microfilled composite recorded the highest creep percentage among other investigated composites. There was no statistically significant difference between high copper amalgam and both hybrid type composites investigated and chemically cured microfilled composite
