RESUMO
Zygomatic Complex Fracture is common in patients who sustain facial trauma. In this study, 36 cases of zygomatic fractures were treated by Gillies approach without any type of fixation. It showed that the successes of treatment by Gillies approach have been comparable. It was found that the results were negatively proportionate to the type of trauma and time elapsed between the injury and the treatment. This emphasized the need for additional methods for fixation when the fracture reduction is unstable
