RESUMO

The privacy problem of facial recognition technology is that commercial companies obtain people's facial information without the consent of individuals and use facial information to infringe on the privacy of individuals. The importance of human privacy in facial recognition technology is reflected through facial ethics, which requires others to perform corresponding obligations to individuals, such as oral care. Through the analysis of the privacy issues of facial recognition technology, it is found that the two elements of "without personal informed" and "without personal consent" together form the basis for commercial companies to violate personal privacy. The principle of informed consent includes the principle of informed and the principle of consent, which is derived from the principle of informed consent in medical ethics. This paper improves the principles of informed consent in medicine and ethics to better address facial recognition privacy issues.

To understand the current quality status and rearing situation of Bombyx Batryticatus, the authors collected 102 batches of Bombyx Batryticatus from different main producing areas and five major Chinese medicine markets from 2016 to 2018, and measured the properties and quality of the silk gland, to clarify the quality status of Bombyx Batryticatus from different producing areas and markets. In addition, 35 batches of Bombyx Batryticatus from 2019 to 2022 were used to verify the silk gland after revision. Moreover, Beauveria Bassiana was inoculated in the silkworm of 4-5 instars, and standardized rearing was carried out until they die. The death rate and the quality of Bombyx Batryticatus were measured to determine the differences in Bombyx Batryticatus of different instars, and explore the rationality of the infection age of Bombyx Batryticatus in Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2020). The results revealed that in the 102 batches of Bombyx Batryticatus, the qualification rate of silk gland was low; the content of total ash far exceeded the standard; the content of beauvericin varied greatly. The qualification rate of the silk gland of the 35 batches of Bombyx Batryticatus was only 47.49%, which could be increased to 73.00% if the number of silk gland was 2 to 4. The death rate of Bombyx Batryticatus at different infection ages was quite different, with uneven quality. Generally, the yield of Bombyx Batryticatus inoculated on the first day of the fifth instar was high with good quality. Therefore, in combination with the quality and actual production of Bombyx Batryticatus, the following suggestions were proposed for revision of Bombyx Batryticatus in Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2025): The number of silk gland should be revised as 2-4 bright brown or bright black silk glands, after which, the quality of Bombyx Batryticatus could be guaranteed, and the "quality identification based on character" could also be reflected scientifically; the content determination index that the content of beauvericin shall not be less than 0.017% should be added to better control the quality of Bombyx Batryticatus; the infection age should be revised as the first day of the fifth instar to narrow the age span, which could better fit the actual production and ensure the quality of Bombyx Batryticatus.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE To establish the quality standard of Clinopodium gracile. METHODS Ten batches of C. gracile were collected to perform appearance and property identification, microscopic identification and thin layer chromatography (TLC) identification. Moisture, total ash, acid-insoluble ash and dilute ethanol extract were detected, and the content of rosmarinic acid was determined by HPLC. RESULTS The stem of C. gracile was slender, square columnar, covered by white fluff, the surface was grayish green or greenish brown; epidermal cells, non-glandular hairs, cortical cells and so on were seen in the cross section of the stem. Non-glandular hairs, ducts, wood fibers, mesophyll cells and so on could be seen in the powder. Results of TLC identification showed that there were spots of the same color in the chromatographic position corresponding to the chromatographic position of buddlejasaponin Ⅳb control. The contents of water, total ash, acid-insoluble ash, dilute ethanol extract and rosmarinic acid in 10 batches of samples were 8.69%-12.33%, 5.96%-13.33%, 0.14%-3.29%, 18.57%-32.61%, 0.35%-0.82%, respectively. The average values were 10.10%, 9.73%, 1.06%, 23.54% and 0.56%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The established method can be used for quality control of C. gracile. It is preliminarily proposed that the ash content in the herb should not exceed 12.0%, the total ash content should not exceed 12.0%, the acid-insoluble ash content should not exceed 1.5%, the dilute ethanol extract should not be less than 18.0%, and the rosmarinic acid content should not be less than 0.45%.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVES@#This study aims to construct endogenous exosomes abundantly loaded with miR-1 and investigate the role of exosome-mediated microRNA-1 (miR-1) delivery on CAL-27 cell proliferation.@*METHODS@#Exosomes secreted by miR-1-overexpressing HEK293 cells (miR1-EXO) were purified via ultracentrifugation and subjected to transmission electron microscopy, nanoparticle analysis, Western blot analysis, and quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). CAL-27 cells were cocultured with exosomes secreted by HEK293 cells (CON-EXO) and miR1-EXO and equivalent phosphate buffer saline. The intracellular transport of exosomes was measured by using immunofluorescence, the expression of miR-1 and its target gene MET were investigated via qPCR, CAL-27 cell proliferation was measured through MTT assay, and cell cycle state was determined by applying flow cytometry.@*RESULTS@#Electron microscopy revealed that miR1-EXO and CON-EXO were spherical or cup-shaped with an average diameter of approximately 110 nm. The well-known exosome markers CD9, Tsg101, and Alix were enriched. The expression of miR-1 in miR1-EXO was higher than that in CON-EXO (285.80±14.33 vs 1.00±0.06, @*CONCLUSIONS@#Exosomes secreted from miR1-EXO cells could load abundant miR-1. Exosomal miR-1 delivered into CAL-27 cells by using miR1-EXO suppressed the expression of MET mRNA and inhibited cell proliferation.

RESUMO

Avian leukosis virus subgroup J (ALV-J) is an avian retrovirus that can induce myelocytomas. A high-frequency mutation in gene envelope endows ALV-J with the potential for cross-species transmission. We wished to ascertain if the ALV-J can spread across species under selection pressure in susceptible and resistant hosts. First, we inoculated (in turn) two susceptible host birds (specific pathogen-free (SPF) chickens and turkeys). Then, we inoculated three resistant hosts (pheasants, quails and ducks) to detect the viral shedding, pathologic changes, and genetic evolution of different isolates. We found that pheasants and quails were infected under the selective pressure that accumulates stepwise in different hosts, and that ducks were not infected. Infection rates for SPF chickens and turkeys were 100% (16/16), whereas those for pheasants and quails were 37.5% (6/16) and 11.1% (3/27). Infected hosts showed immune tolerance, and inflammation and tissue damage could be seen in the liver, spleen, kidneys and cardiovascular system. Non-synonymous mutation and synonymous ratio (NS/S) analyses revealed the NS/S in hypervariable region (hr) 2 of pheasants and quails was 2.5. That finding suggested that mutation of isolates in pheasants and quails was induced by selective pressure from the resistant host, and that the hr2 region is a critical domain in cross-species transmission of ALV-J. Sequencing showed that ALV-J isolates from turkeys, pheasants and quails had moved away from the original virus, and were closer to the ALV-J prototype strain HPRS-103. However, the HPRS-103 strain cannot infect pheasants and quails, so further studies are needed.

RESUMO

The distribution of receptor sites for concanavalin A (Con A) on the cellsurface of human gastric cancer cell line (MGC 80-3) and fibroblast cell cultures wasstudied with electron and light microscope after application of Con A-peroxidasemethod.The cytochemical reaction of the majority of non-prefixed MGC 80-3 cellsshows a striking tendency to be more uneven distribution than on fibroblasts.Clustering, patching and capping of Con A binding sites on the cancer cells anduniform distribution on the fibroblasts were observed. The effects of incubationtemperature, prefix treatment, different phase of cell cycles and cell growth condi-tions on the distribution of Con A receptor complexes were observed. The possiblereasons for the more irregular distribution of the cytochemical reaction product onthe MGC 80-3 cells than the fibroblasts are discussed.

RESUMO

A rat monoclonal antibody of the IgG1 class, McAb B5A8, specific for the cAMP-dependent protein kinase(PKA) was produced. Western blot analysis revealed specific binding of the antibody to protein of 52-56 kd.The affinity-purified McAb BSA8 was labeled with FITC. Immunofluorescent localization of PKA was examined in human fibroblasts, gastric cancer cell line (MGc 80-3)and EAC cells. The distribution of PKA on the cytoplasmic microtubule network, Golgi region and nucleoli were observed. PKA was localized in the nuclear region in G2 phase of synchronized MGc 80-3 cells, and it was only found around the nuclei of MGc 80-3 cells which were incubated with DBcAMP. The changes in the distribution of PKA in cells are discussed.

RESUMO

The experiments was conducted on the fibroblasts of human prepuce in vitro todemonstrate the distribution of cytoplasmic microfilaments with Coomassie Blue R250.It has been found that the distribution of the cytoplasmic microfilaments canbe disturbed by the specific inhibitor,Cytochalasin B.We also observed the inhi-bition by Cytochalasin B was reversible. The cytoplasmic microfilaments regainedtheir normal distribution after the Cytochalasin B was removed. This result further confirmed that the staining method of Coomassie BrilliantBlue R 250 is reliable to demonstrate microfilaments in cultured fibrablasts.

RESUMO

This experiment was carried out in young adult albino mice, which were injectedwith Ehrlich ascites tumor cells intraperitoneally to produce Ehrlich ascites tumor. The animals were divided into 2 groups. The first group received cAMP plusaminophylline for 5 to 13 days after inoculation. The second group received saline ascontrol. We found that in the administration of cAMP together with aminophylline, thegrowth of Ehrlich ascites tumor cells was inhibited to the extent of 53% at the 9thdays after inoculation.Early or later than the 9th day,the inhibitory rates were marklylower.By using cAMP immunocytochemical method,it was found that on the9th day of inoculation, there was an increase of the intensity of intracellualr cAMPspecific fluorescence in tumor cells of the cAMP treated mice in comparison withthose of the control. It also inhibited the 3',5'-cAMP-PDE activity on the 5th to 7thday after inoculation.Under the dark field microscope on the surface of the Ehrlich tumor cells therewere numerous“brush-like”microvilli,but they were not visible on the surfaceafter treated with cAMP together with aminophylline. The agglutination by theCon.A,was decreased markly on the 7th to 9th day after the inoculation. The possible relationship between the level of intracellular cAMP and of the3',5'-cAMP-PDE,and especially the inhibition of the formation of microvilli onthe treated tumor cell surface is discussed in this paper.
