The experimental study of Senxing granule in deferring aging / 中华老年医学杂志

Objective To investigate whether Senxing granule is effective on deferring aging and its mechanism. Methods The assay methods for life span of fruit fly and rat antioxidation were used for the study. Level of lipoperoxide, activity of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) in whole blood and liver tissue was measured. Low dose of Senxing granules in the culture medium was decided as 0.007 % and middle dose as 0.022 %.
