RESUMO

OBJECTIVETo investigate the relationship between the environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) and lung cancer by Meta-analysis.

METHODSWe used "lung cancer/lung neoplasm", "non-smoking/non-smoker", "China/Chinese", "case-control/case control", "risk factor", "environmental tobacco smoke/passive smoking" as key words, to search papers in databases including Chinese BioMedical Literature (CBM), China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI), Wanfang, Vip Citation Databases (VIP), PubMed and Web of Science databases, and collected the case-control studies on ETS and lung cancer among Chinese non-smokers from January 1999 to December 2013. A total of 129 research papers were collected. RevMan 5.2 software was used to calculate combined odds radio (OR) and 95% CI.

RESULTSQualified 18 literatures were included, total cases 6 145 and controls 8 132. Consolidated results showed that ETS exposure could increase the risk of lung cancer, combined OR (95% CI) = 1.52 (1.42-1.64). Stratified analysis showed that ETS exposure was found to be significantly associated with an increasing risk of the lung cancer on non-smoking women and men, and combined OR (95% CI) were 1.58 (1.42-1.75) and 1.34 (1.08-1.65), respectively; the ETS exposure from family or the working environment could increase the risk of lung cancer, and combined OR (95% CI) were 1.48 (1.20-1.82) and 1.38 (1.13-1.69) respectively; childhood exposure and adult exposure were no significant statistical significance, and combined OR (95% CI) were 1.37 (0.98-1.91), and 1.34 (0.97-1.85) respectively.

CONCLUSIONEnvironmental tobacco smoke exposure was a significant risk factor of lung cancer among non-smokers in China.

RESUMO

Taking the network course of pediatric dentistu-occlusal inducement as an example, this paper put forwards several aspects that should be focused on,including building a strong team to implement the project; taking advantage of muhimedia and providing rich teaching resources in various forms, breaking traditional teaching modes and taking full advantage of the characteristics of the network platform to provide students with individualized teaching service ; building self-regulatory system and real-time interactive platform for teachers and students; establishing long-term mechanism, cultivating a network course reserve team with modernization quality and updating teaching content constantly to let it become an open teaching platform Finally the paper explained the significance of network course construction and promotion.

RESUMO

Objective To compare the immune protective effects of three antigens of Trichinella spiralis encapsulated larvae on mice. Methods The mice were immunized with Trichinella spiralis encapsulated larvae somatic antigen, encapsulated larva excretory-secretory antigen and encapsulated larva surface antigen,3 times with a 7-day interval, and the adjuvant control and normal control group were set up.Seven days after the final immunization, each mouse was orally challenged with 200 Trichinella spirais larvae. The intestinal adult worms and muscle larvae of Trichinella spiralis of each group were recoveried and examined on Day 7 and Day 30 post-challenge,respectively.The level of 8eruln IgG to antigens of Trichinella muscle muscle larvae wa8 detected by ELISA.Results The intestinal adult worms were reduced by 84.89%.89.73%,85.65%.2.57% in the encapsulated larva somatic,excretory-secretory and surface antigen groups, respectively. The muscle lalwae were reduced by 71.71%,80.98%,73.66%,5.60%, respectively.Adtlltwornl reduction rates(P<0.05) and musclelarva reduction rates(P<0.01) of the encapsulated larva excretory-secretory antigen group and surface antigen group were higher than those of encapsulated larva somatic antigen group. The antibody titers in all the immunized groups increased significantly.and the GMRT values of the encapsulated larva somatic,excretory-secretory and surface antigen groups were 32 798.89,3 474.51,2 984.83,respectively,and were 6.09,7.56,6.50 times higher than those of the normal control group(459.32).Conclusions Trichinella spiralis encapsulated larva antigens can induce strong resistance of host to a subsequent challenge infection.Among these antigens,excretory-secretory antigen is more immunogenic.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the characterized imaging in conventional MRI, get information about the metabolites in basal ganglia from proton MR Spectroscopy(~1H-MRS) of acute bilirubin encephalopathy(ABE) and find out the relationship between those changes and bilirubin levels. Methods Twenty-eight patients with acute bilirubin encephalopathy and 15 normal neonates underwent MR and ~1H-MRS examinations T_1 WI, T_2WI and DWI were collected via conventional MRI scanning of all neonates. All patients underwent multi-voxels scanning and 15 of them had single voxel scanning. ~1H-MRS used point resolved spectroscopy (PRESS) both in multi-voxels and single voxel scanning. The data of them were acquired from the ROIs placed in basal ganglia and globus pallidus, respectively. The metabolites including NAA choline, Lactate, glutamate and glutamine, myoinositol and creatine were quantitatively analyzed to compare them between the control group and the case group. Equality of variance between patient data and normal values were tested by using the two-tailed t test. The case group was divided into three groups of 342.0 μmol/L < TSB ≤ 427. 5 μmol/L,427.5 μmol/L < TSB ≤ 513.0 μmol/L, TSB > 513.0 μmol/L including 8,9,11 patients, respectively. Analysis of variance was used for statistics. Results Conventional magnetic resonance imaging showed symmetrical high signal of T_1WI in globus pallidus of 23 patients. The case group and the control group were significantly different. Single voxel ~1H-MRS revealed that the relative concentrations of Glx/Gr and mI/Cr in the control group were 0.95±0.23, 0.57±0.20, respectively, While those in case group were 1.45±0.37, 0.74±0.23, respectively. There were significant differences between two groups (t =2. 13,4. 40,P =0.04,0.00 respectively). Multi-voxels scanning 1H-MRS revealed that Glx / Cr were 0.51±0.36 in case group and 0.29±0.18 in control group. There was also a significant difference between two groups (t =2.17,P =0.03). And the values of Cho/Cr, NAA/Cr and Lac/Cr were not significantly different. The results were same in multi-voxels ~1H-MRS. Total bilirubin level and the concentration of metabolites in the brain do not have obvious correlation. Conclusions ABE has a characteristic signature which is symmetrical high signal of T_1 WI in globus pallidus on conventional MBI; The values of mI/Cr and Glx/Cr remarkably increase as detected by ~1H-MRS, which is generally in agreement with what has been known about bilirubin pathology.
