RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of nasal endoscopic anterior lacrimal recess approach combined with temporary fenestration of the nasal septum in resecting recurrent nasal inverted papilloma. Methods:Patients with recurrent nasal inverted papilloma who underwent reoperation in our hospital during the past 2 years were included . The nasal septum may hinder full access to and effective treatment of the lesions at the anterior and medial wall of the maxillary sinus by endoscope, aspirator and surgical instrument in the narrow aperture of the prelacrimal recess, although these lesions could be observed by 70° nasal endoscope. Results:The nasal septum is temporarily opened on the basis of the prelacrimal recess approach, and the nasal endoscope and instrument was introduced through trans-septal window, so as to provide a better view of the operative field and the angular range of the instrument's movement. Conclusion:The recurrent nasal inverted papilloma could be successfully managed by re-endoscopic anterior lacrimal recess approach combined with temporary fenestration of the nasal septum, and no recurrence was observed during the 2-year follow-up. This surgical approach is recommended for the inverted papilla which originates from the anterior medial wall of the maxillary sinus, as the tumor can be removed completely using this surgical approach.

RESUMO

Objective To compare the dissolution behavior between domestic trepibutone tablets and original reference product, and provide a basis for evaluating the quality consistency of generic drugs. Methods Four dissolution media recommended by Japanese Orange Book and a domestic standard dissolution media were selected to determined the dissolution profile, and f2 factor was calculated to investigate the consistency of stripping curves. Results In water,pH 4.0 and pH 1.2,the f2 of domestic formulation and reference formulation was under 50,and the dissolution profile was inconsistent.Dissolution behavior of domestic preparations of different manufacturers was dissimilar. In water, the f2 of domestic preparations of different batches of the same manufacturer was over 99.9,and the dissolution behavior was similar. Conclusion The dissolution method of existing domestic standard can not distinguish the dissolution behavior of different products, and it should be revised and completed. There is still great difference in quality between the domestic preparations and reference preparations.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To observe the effect of hypothermia plasma radiofrequency ablation to the adhesion of nasal cavity after radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.@*METHOD@#The subjective score combined with nasal ventilation function test were used to reflect the degree of patients with nasal adhesion.@*RESULT@#There is a significant improvement in subjective feeling after treatment. Nasal cavity volume began to increase and nasal expiratory resistance decrease obviously 3M later.@*CONCLUSION@#Hypothermia plasma radiofrequency ablation technology can improve the nasal cavity adhesion in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy, and also the patients quality of life.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To study the effects of procaine on human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell strain CNE-2Z.@*METHOD@#CNE-2Z cells-cultured in vitro-were exposed to different concentration procaine and different time. Its growth characteristic were studied by using MTT assay and flow cytometry. The expression of p16 and RASSF1A mRNA were analyzed by RT-PCR.@*RESULT@#Procaine could inhibit the proliferation of CNE-2Z cells and the effects were in dose- and time-dependent manners. Procaine also arrested CNE-2Z cells in G1 phase of cell cycle. The expression of RASSF1A mRNA was up-regulated in CNE-2Z cells treated with procaine, but no obvious change was found in the expression of p16 mRNA.@*CONCLUSION@#Procaine could inhibit cell growth and up-regulate the expression of RASSF1A mRNA, which may play an important role in CNE-2Z cells' proliferation inhibition induced by procaine.
