This work was conducted to investigate the possible role played by some growth promoters on certain metabolites in leaves of red radish plants grown under drought condition. Consequently, treatment with each of 2,4-D [1 ppm], GA3 [50 ppm] and BA [10 ppm] was found, in general, to increase markedly the values of soluble sugars [reducing sugars and sucrose], polysaccharides, total sugars, 2
