Th e purpose of this study was to evaluate signifi cant diff erenceson posture of the community health agents who carry bagsfor transporting work equipment during 8 hours per day andcompare with another group of Family Health Team that doesnot carry bags during working hours. It was used a computerizedbiophotogrammetry. Data was collected at Family Health Unit ofLimoeiro neighborhood, Ipatinga/MG, where a laboratory was builtto capture digital images of the participants, which were analyzedby Alcimage software program. Th e deviation angle in an acromionmodule angle was compared between groups of individuals thatcarry bags (experimental group) with those who do not use (controlgroup), using the mean, standard deviation and the Student t testat 5% probability. Th e result showed that only the average valueand standard deviation of the acromion angle of the experimentalgroup was higher than the average and standard deviation of thecontrol group. Also, the “t” value was not found signifi cant at level5% of probability. We conclude that, in this study, the bag was notresponsible for the body angle deviation of community health agentscompared to other members of the Family Health Team...
