RESUMO

Thinking of the diagnosis of complicated uterine malformation in case of acute abdominal pain. In our case, the patient was holding a unicornuate uterus and was admitted for abdominal pain. The etiological diagnosis was performed during laparotomy leading to hemi-hysterectomy. The unicornuate uterus with rudimentary horn results of a failure of the mullerian ducts. This malformation is discovered during examinations for infertility or after acute complication. The diagnosis is established by imaging [ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging] and laparoscopy. Although rare, these malformations should be evocated when patient present abdominal pain and justify the surgical excision of the rudimentary horn to prevent complications [endometriosis, sever dysmenorrhea, rupture of ectopic pregnancy in a rudimentary uterine horn]

RESUMO

IUD is a contraceptive means that knows more and more followers. Certain authors ascribe to it a role in the genesis of ectopic pregnancies through tubal lesions. Yet, numerous studies discriminate the IUD and show no difference statistically significant between women, carriers or non-carriers of IUD, having presented an extrauterine pregnancy. According to 6 cases of association IUD and EUP randomised in 5 years, in Maternity service, Souissi I and a review of literature, our aim is to show the absence of the cause / effect relationship between the use of IUD and the occurence of EUP

RESUMO

Bilateral mammary adenosis,in its major form, is a rare disease. It affects the young woman. It can take on very variable clinical and anatomopathobogical aspects. Throughout a demonstrative case, selected at maternity Souissi I and a review of literature,we tried to lay out the histological, therapeutical and evolutive problems caused by this disease

RESUMO

Gestational diabetes is a disequilibrium of the metabolism of carbon hydrates, which appears during pregnancy and disappears after delivery. At present, its physiopathology is more and more clarified. It poses, however, a problem of mass detection: who and when to detect

RESUMO

The pulmonary edema[PE] is a rare but serious complication of the pregnancy induced hypertension [PIH]. PE is an obstetrical emergency that represent a threat to the mother and her foetus. The incidence of the PE in our ward is 7,6%. We report 13 cases in the obstetric intensive care unit [Maternit‚ de Rabat] during a period of 18 months. The average age of our patients is 27 years, 70% are primiparous, 2 had twin gestation. In 7 cases, the PE occur during the 3rd trimester. The diagnosis is based on clinical respiratory disease associated with radiological signs of PE. The severity of the PIH is meseared by the presence of other complications of this disease [Eclampsia:23%, Acute renal failure: 60%]. The treatment consisted of respiratory assistance, vasodilator therapy, diuretic and nitroglycerin. The outcome was favourable, there was only one maternal death caused by a nosocomial lung infection. However, the perinatal mortality is high[40%]

RESUMO

Neuroblastoma occupies the second rank of child malignant tumors. It suffers diagnostic delay that makes these tumors surgically difficult if not surgical at all. Treatment remains essentially tumoral excision associated to chemotherapy. 20 cases were depisted at the children's hospital of Rabat during a twelve years period, 80% of which are classified in stage III Evolution is marked either by complete remission [6 cases], metastases [3 cases] or by a local recur of the tumor [2 cases]. Mortality in our series is 35%

RESUMO

Hemangioma of the bladder is a rare benign tumor in children and young adults. The lesions may be found at any age and affects both sexes equally. The diagnosis is made by cystoscopic examination. Histologically, the cavernous form of hemangioma is most common. Treatment is by partial cystectomy with favorable prognosis

RESUMO

Urethral duplicities are scarce malformations dominated by urethral bifidity in "y', sometimes associated to other congenital malformations. Discovery age is generally neonatal. Diagnosis is clinical, anatomic type is determinal by anterograde and retrograde opacifications. Treatment often poses restenosis problems. Two cases are treated at pediatric urology service, whose surgical intervention was a failure in one case; in the other case the reestablishment of urethral conduct is always under way, and we foresee terminal urethrosplasy in the future with a very good prognosis
