RESUMO

Aim To investigate the hub genes associated with response to valproate treatment in patients with epilepsy by using weighted gene co-expression network analysis. Methods We downloaded data from the GEO database and constructed the gene co-expression network.Pearson correlation test was used to calculate the correlation between module genes and clinical traits, to screen gene modules significantly associated with response to valproate treatment, and to screen hub genes according to the connectivity within modules.GO functional enrichment analysis and KEGG pathway analysis were used to annotate the functions of the modules. Results A total of 12 gene co-expression modules were constructed from the correlations of gene expression, in which the yellow module was significantly correlated with the drug treatment(r=0.57, P<0.000 1)and the blue module was significantly correlated with the response to valproate(r=-0.53, P<0.000 1).We found that S1PR5, SARM1 and MAGED1, FBXO31 were in the hub of the co-expression network. The biological annotation function revealed that the genes in both modules were mainly enriched in immune response and MPAK pathways. Conclusions Our work delivers preliminary data that valproate treatment causes the changes of immune and metabolic pathways in patients, and the response to epilepsy may be related to the expression of MAGED1, FBXO31.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the satisfaction and performance of water colonoscopy and gas colonoscopy. METHODS: 240 continuous cases were randomly divided into two groups(gas colonoscopy group, water colonoscopy group). Record the general condition, success rate, period of performance and abdominal pain score. Investigate the degree of abdominal pain, distension and the will of receiving anesthetic colonoscopy next time in the follow-up. RESULTS: There were no significant difference between two groups in the general condition, success rate, depth of insertion, abdominal pain after examination or the will of receiving anesthetic colonoscopy next time(P>0.05). The period of insertion, period of withdrawal and period of performance in water colonoscopy group was longer than those in the gas colonoscopy group(P<0.001, P=0.013, P<0.001). The degree of abdominal distension at 1 hour after colonoscopy in water colonoscopy group was higher than those in the gas colonoscopy group(P<0.001), but no significant difference was found at6 hours after examination. CONCLUSION: Patients undergoing water colonoscopy have better outcomes with less abdominal pain and abdominal distension except for longer time of performance.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the impact of prescribed adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction V (Pre-ASiR-V) on imaging quality and radiation dosage of pure ground glass nodules (pGGN) in chest phantom,in order to obtain the optimal level of Pre-ASiR-V.Methods CT scanning for a chest phantom containing 4 artificial pGGNs was performed with Revolution CT,and the Pre-ASiR-V level was set as 0,20%,40%,60%,80% and 100% group, respectively. The mean noise, effective dose (ED) and the subjective scores of pGGN imaging were recorded and compared. Results The mean noise of groups (Pre-ASiR-V 0,20%,40%,60%,80% and 100%) was (17.93±2.20)HU,(17.30±3.68)HU,(18.20± 3.44)HU,(18.80±0.20)HU,(19.87±2.56)HU and (15.90±4.56)HU,respectively (F=0.568,P=0.723).ED of these groups was 7.40 mSv,5.16 mSv,3.36 mSv,1.97 mSv,0.97 mSv and 0.33 mSv,respectively.Compared with imaging of PreASiR-V 0,the reduction percentage of ED was 30.27%,54.59%,73.38%,86.89% and 95.54%,respectively.The subjective score of the image quality evaluated by the 2 observers had high agreement (Kappa=0.778,P=0.003),and all the scores were greater than 3.The subjective score of Pre-ASiR-V 80% and 100% group was slightly lower than those in other groups. Conclusion Different Pre-ASiR-V level slightly impacts the noise of high-resolution CT images of chest phantom, while reduces radiation dosage significantly.Pre-ASiR-V level of 60% is the optimal protocol.

RESUMO

This study is aimed to investigate objective indicators of mental fatigue evaluation to improve the accuracy of mental fatigue evaluation. Mental fatigue was induced by a sustained cognitive task. The brain functional networks in two states (normal state and mental fatigue state) were constructed based on electroencephalogram (EEG) data. This study used complex network theory to calculate and analyze nodal characteristics parameters (degree, betweenness centrality, clustering coefficient and average path length of node), and served them as the classification features of support vector machine (SVM). Parameters of the SVM model were optimized by gird search based on 6-fold cross validation. Then, the subjects were classified. The results show that characteristic parameters of node of brain function networks can be divided into normal state and mental fatigue state, which can be used in the objective evaluation of mental fatigue state.
