148 patients attending the outpatient Tropical Medicine clinic, El Minia University Hospital were studied for parasitic infections in relation to ABO blood groups .There was a statistically significant relationship between G. lamblia infection [69.23%] and blood group [A], as well as a tendency of blood group B to be excess among cases of E. coli [46.15%]. On the other hand S. haematobium, S. mansoni, H. nana, E. vermicularis, A. lumbricoides and E. histolytica showed no significant relationship to ABO blood groups
