RESUMO

【Objective】 To share the technical key points and experience of transvesical robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (TvRARP). 【Methods】 The clinical data of 13 patients with prostate cancer (PCa) receiving TvRARP during Nov.2021 and May 2022 were collected. The operation time, estimated blood loss, blood transfusion rate, catheter removal time, postoperative length of hospital stay, immediate urinary continence rate, postoperative IIEF-5 score and perioperative complications were evaluated. 【Results】 The operation time was (142±39) min, estimated intraoperative blood loss was (76±40) mL, and no transfusion was needed. The median postoperative IIEF-5 score was 16 (12-22), hospital stay 3 (2-5)days, and catheter removal time 7(5-14)days. Of all 13 patients, 12(92.3%) achieved immediate urinary continence at the removal of catheter. There were no postoperative complications of Clavien Ⅲ and above. Clavien Ⅰ-Ⅱ complications were observed in 4 patients (30.8%). 【Conclusion】 TvRARP is feasible and safe for selected patients with clinically localized PCa, which can ensure promising postoperative urinary continence and preserve erectile functional.

RESUMO

Clinical evaluation of cardiac function is routine and important. Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) cine sequence can obtain dynamic images of the whole cardiac cycle. Based on echocardiographic techniques, CMR has been used to establish a set of scanning sequences and an evaluation index system to evaluate cardiac function, including ejection fraction, ventricular mass index, strain, interventricular septum curvature ratio, tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion and vascular compliance. Understanding the principles, significance and indications of these indicators is helpful to optimize the scanning sequence and make timely and effective diagnosis, which is of great significance for clinical treatment and prognosis evaluation. This review sums up the status and progress of clinical application of CMR in evaluation of cardiac function.

RESUMO

ABSTRACT:Objective To evaluate the curative effect of tension-free vaginal tape-obturator (TVT-O)and modified TVT-O in treating female stress urinary incontinence (SUI).Methods We selected 1 1 3 female patients diagnosed with SUI from January to December 2013 in our department and divided them into standard TVT-O group (group A,5 6 cases)and modified TVT-O group (group B,5 7 cases). We evaluated prospectively the safety,short-term efficacy and complications of operation in the two groups. Results The length from bilateral obturator membrane to the puncture point in the skin was greater in group A than in group B.The average intraoperative blood loss was more in group A than in group B.The median NRS score of postoperatie thigh pain in group A was higher than in group B (P0.05).Conclusion Both TVT-O and modified TVT-O techniques are effective in treating female SUI.Modified TVT-O has a short path to get through the adductor muscles and less intraoperative blood loss;therefore,it can significantly reduce the complications such as postoperative pain to enhance the quality of life after operation.

RESUMO

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the growth rhythm of preterm appropriate for gestational age (AGA) infants by investigating their physical catch-up growth characteristics.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Eighty-four preterm AGA newborns (44 males and 40 females) with gestational ages between 28-36 weeks were enrolled. The weight, length and head circumference were evaluated by Z score according to the criterions of actual and corrected ages.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The preterm infants had the catch-up growth in weight, length and head circumference in the first year of life. The growth velocity within the first three months was the highest. The velocity in the weight catch-up was higher than that in the length.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>The fastest growing period is the early three month of life in preterm AGA infants. The catch-up growth in weight and length is unbalanced.</p>
