RESUMO

To observe and investigate the effects and mechanisms of the pure total flavonoids from Citrus changshan-huyou(PTFC) on blood lipid metabolism in hyperlipidemic rats. SD rats were fed with high fat diet for 4 weeks to induce hyperlipidemic rats model, meanwhile three dosages (50, 100, 200 mg•kg ⁻¹•d ⁻¹) of PTFC were administrated intragastrically for 4 weeks respectively. After 2 weeks of modeling, their tail blood was taken and serum TC, TG, and HDL-C levels were detected by biochemical method and their body weight was measured. After 4 weeks of modeling, their body weight was measured and liver weight was measured, then the levels of TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, ALT, AST, MDA and SOD in serum were detected to calculate lipid comprehensive index(LDL-C/HDL-C and LDL-C/TC ratios) and atherogenic index(AI); in addition, MDA and SOD levels were detected by biochemical method. The hitopathological changes of the liver tissues were observed by HE staining; the protein expression levels of PPAR-α, Lpl, and Lipc were detected by ELISA; and the mRNA expression levels of PPAR-α in the liver tissue were detected by Real-time PCR. The results showed that gavage administration of the PTFC significantly decreased the body weight, liver weight, liver index, serum ALT and AST activities, the levels of serum TC, TG, LDL-C, LDL-C/HDL-C, AI and increased serum HDL and LDL/TC level. Moreover, the PTFC significantly enhanced SOD activity and decreased the concentration of MDA in serum and liver tissue. Further mechanism investigation indicated that PTFC inhibited serum lipid accumulation by increasing the expressions PPAR-α, Lpl, Lipc protein and PPAR-α mRNA of the liver tissues. PTFC could actively regulate blood lipid metabolism by ameliorating hepatic function, improving the body's antioxidant capacity, lowering levels of oxidative stress, as well as positively regulating the expression levels of PPAR-α, Lpl, Lipc protein and PPAR-α mRNA of the liver tissues in rats.

RESUMO

BACKGROUNDThere is an unmet need for a reliable method of airway management for patients in the lateral position. This prospective randomized controlled two-center study was designed to evaluate the feasibility of intubation using a flexible fiberoptic bronchoscope in the lateral position during surgery.

METHODSSeventy-two patients scheduled for elective nonobstetric surgery in the lateral decubitus position requiring tracheal intubation under general anesthesia at Lishui Central Hospital of Zhejiang Province and Jiaxing First Hospital of Zhejiang Province from April 1, 2015, to September 30, 2015, were enrolled in this study. Patients were randomly assigned to the supine position group (Group S, n = 38) and the lateral position group (Group L, n = 34). Experienced anesthetists performed tracheal intubation with a fiberoptic bronchoscope after general anesthesia. The time required for intubation, intubation success rates, and hemodynamic changes was recorded. Between-group differences were assessed using the Student's t-test, Mann-Whitney U-test, or Chi-square test.

RESULTSThe median total time to tracheal intubation was significantly longer in Group S (140.0 [135.8, 150.0] s) compared to Group L (33.0 [24.0, 38.8] s) (P < 0.01). The first-attempt intubation success rate was significantly higher in Group L (97%) compared to Group S (16%). Hemodynamic changes immediately after intubation were more exaggerated in Group S compared to Group L (P = 0.02).

CONCLUSIONEndotracheal intubation with a flexible fiberoptic bronchoscope may be an effective and timesaving technique for patients in the lateral position.

TRIAL REGISTRATIONChinese Clinical Trial Register, ChiCTR-IIR-16007814; http://www.chictr.org.cn/showproj.aspx?proj=13183.

RESUMO

In this paper, the content of moisture, ethanol-soluble extractives, total saponins and polysaccharide of different tuber samples of Hemsleya zhejiangensis, from different localities, years and seasons, were detected based upon Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010 version. The samples of roots, stems and leaves in summer were detected as well. The results are mainly as follows. (1)With tuber quality increasing, the content of total saponins increased and then decreased. The individual quality of tubers getting 594.06 g, the content of total saponins reached the peak. (2) The content of active ingredients in different localities was significantly different, and the population of Wuyanling had the maximum content of total saponins and polysaccharide. (3) The content of active ingredients revealed stability between the years 2012 and 2013, but the content of polysaccharide was significantly different. The content in 2012 was higher than that of 2013. (4) The content of active ingredients reached the peak in autumn, which was the best harvest season. (5) Among different component content detection of nutritional organs, tubers had the maximum content of ethanol-soluble extractives, total saponins and polysaccharide. Leaves also contained higher content of ethanol-soluble extractives and total saponins than roots and stems. All of these provide theoretical basis for plant, harvest and production of H. zhejiangensis, which is an endemic, rare, and endangered medicinal plants.

RESUMO

Anxiety is usually generated because of the threatened feeling. The data of electrocardio, respiration, blood volume pulse and skin conductance signals were collected. The arithmetic of Relief were used for the feature selection and combined with k-Nearest Neighbor (kNN) arithmetic and Support Vector Machine (SVM) arithmetic for classification. The results show that the combination of Relief-SVM is better than combination of Relief-kNN on the recognition of anxiety state. The emotion recognition based on multi-physiological signals is superior to that based on one single signal.

RESUMO

In this paper, experiments were designed for inducing neutral, terrified, excited, annoying emotions, and also low, middle, high, three levels of tension emotions of stress state, respectively. Based on the multi physiological signals generated by the subjects in emotions, such as heart rate and respiration rate and so on, we extracted features from these data which had been eliminated the baseline. Then the Particle Swarm Optimization method was adopted to optimize the features selection from the features of multi physiological signals, and combined with k-Nearest Neighbor algorithm, different emotions and varying degree tensions were classified. The result shows that the classification accuracy of the kNN method with SPO and baseline eliminated is better than the traditional kNN method.

RESUMO

ObjectiveSLC2A9 is a novel identified urate transporter that affects serum uric acid levels. The present study is aimed to investigate rs7442295 polymorphism in intron 6 of SLC2A9 in a population of Chinese male gout or hypemricaemia subjects. MethodsA total of 268 gout patients and 288 healthy male volunteers were included. Blood pressure, body mass index(BMI), serum uric acid, glucose, lipid, urea and creatine were detected. DNA was purified from peripheral blood and the rs7442295 polymorphism was evaluated using high resolution melting ( HRM ) analysis and direct sequencing. Data were analyzed with t test or chi-square test. Results A/A and A/G genotypes were unambiguously distinguished with HRM technology. The occurrence of the homozygous type (G/G) was completely absent among the study population. The prevalence of the A/A and A/G genotype was 96.2% and 3.8% respectively. However, no significant differences of genotype frequencies were found in gout patients and normal subjects(x2=0.003, P=0.82; x2=0.003, P=1.00). But the serum uric acid levels in individuals with the A/G genotype[(293±100) μmol/L]were significantly lower than those with the A/A genotype[(392±133) μmol/L](t=2.426, P<0.01 ). The A/G genotype frequency was significantly higher in the low-uric acid group than in the high uric-acid group (x2=6.279, P=0.01 ). Genotyping based on HRM was fully concordant with sequencing. Conclusion The polymorphism rs7442295 in SLC2A9 may be a genetic marker to assess risk of hyperuricemia among Chinese male Hart population. HRM is a simple, fast, reliable and close-tube technology for genotyping.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To determine the efficacy, safety and primary follow-up results of a guidewire looping technique for the treatment of infrapopliteal arteries. MATERIALS AND METHODS: From October 2006 to May 2008, an intraluminal angioplasty of the infrapopliteal arteries was attempted in 200 consecutive patients. Altogether, 417 infrapopliteal lesions, with lengths varying from 2 cm to 32 cm, were treated as part of this study, including 305 lesions in the anterior tibial arteries, 89 in the posterior tibial arteries, and 23 in the peroneal arteries. The 'U'-shaped guidewire technique was attempted in 393 lesions from 361 limbs. The tip of a hydrophilic 0.035-inch guidewire was formed into a 'U' shape with the aid of a 4-Fr catheter and collateral branch vessel to recanalize the completely occluded long segment lesions. RESULTS: A successful angioplasty with at least one artery recanalized directly to the malleolar or dorsal foot was achieved in 322 limbs (89%). The looping technique had a success rate of 90% (352 of 393 lesions). After the procedure, the rest pain was relieved in 58 of 69 patients, while 207 of 245 limbs (85%) showed improvement for intermittent claudication. Complete wound healing was noted in 21 of 54 patients, while 20 of 54 patients showed an improvement in the wound size or depth. A total of 38 major immediate procedure-related complications were noted, including retroperitoneal hematoma, distal emboli, and vessel rupture. CONCLUSION: The results of this study suggests that the guidewire looping technique is a safe and effective method for the recanalization of the occluded lesions in infrapopliteal vessels.

RESUMO

Objective The present study was to differentiate the hyperdensities on CT immediately after intra-arterial thrombolysis in patients with acute isehemic stroke. Methods Twenty two patients with acute ischemic stroke were treated with intra-arterial combining with intravenous thrombolysis within 6 hours after onset. All patients underwent nonenhaneed CT scans before, immediately and 24 hours after thrombolytic therapy. The hyperdensities on CT after intra-arterial thrombolysis were analyzed retrospectively. Results Five hyperdense areas were seen in 22 patients immediately after thrombolytie therapy.According to their locations, CT values and follow-up CT scans, the hyperdensities on CT imaging were classified into two groups:contrast enhancement and hemorrhagic transformation. The former was characterized by rapid clearance of the hyperdensity lesion with maximum Hounsifild Unit<90,on the contrary, the latter was noted by persistence of hyperdensity lesion after 24 hours CT scan with maximum Hounsifild Unit>90.Two of the five hyperdense lesion patients were confirmed to be contrast enhancement with location in cerebral cortex, the other were hemorrhagic transformation, mostly located in basal ganglia.Hyperdensity in patients with contrast enhancement showed neurological improvement although no further medical cares were offered. Conclusions Different kind of hyperdensity on CT immediately after intra-arterial thrombolysis in patients with acute ischemic stroke can be differentiated according to its location,CT value and follow-up CT scan. When contrast enhancement occurred,no further medical care is needed.
