OBJECTIVE@#To compare the accuracy and effectiveness of orthopaedic robot-assisted minimally invasive surgery versus open surgery for limb osteoid osteoma.@*METHODS@#A clinical data of 36 patients with limb osteoid osteomas admitted between June 2016 and June 2023 was retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 16 patients underwent orthopaedic robot-assisted minimally invasive surgery (robot-assisted surgery group), and 20 patients underwent tumor resection after lotcated by C-arm X-ray fluoroscopy (open surgery group). There was no significant difference between the two groups in the gender, age, lesion site, tumor nidus diameter, and preoperative pain visual analogue scale (VAS) scores ( P>0.05). The operation time, lesion resection time, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative fluoroscopy frequency, lesion resection accuracy, and postoperative analgesic use frequency were recorded and compared between the two groups. The VAS scores for pain severity were compared preoperatively and at 3 days and 3 months postoperatively.@*RESULTS@#Compared with the open surgery group, the robot-assisted surgery group had a longer operation time, less intraoperative blood loss, less fluoroscopy frequency, less postoperative analgesic use frequency, and higher lesion resection accuracy ( P<0.05). There was no significant difference in lesion resection time ( P>0.05). All patients were followed up after surgery, with a follow-up period of 3-24 months (median, 12 months) in the two groups. No postoperative complication such as wound infection or fracture occurred in either group during follow-up. No tumor recurrence was observed during follow-up. The VAS scores significantly improved in both groups at 3 days and 3 months after surgery when compared with preoperative value ( P<0.05). The VAS score at 3 days after surgery was significantly lower in robot-assisted surgery group than that in open surgery group ( P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in VAS scores at 3 months between the two groups ( P>0.05).@*CONCLUSION@#Compared with open surgery, robot-assisted resection of limb osteoid osteomas has longer operation time, but the accuracy of lesion resection improve, intraoperative blood loss reduce, and early postoperative pain is lighter. It has the advantages of precision and minimally invasive surgery.

OBJECTIVE@#In order to solve the problem of inadequate CT screening ability in emergency medical rescue in remote mountainous areas, high-altitude areas, other public health events and sudden natural disasters, a vehicle-mounted mobile CT suitable for emergency medical rescue is studied.@*METHODS@#A vehicle chassis system suitable for long-distance transportation and a cabin system suitable for epidemic prevention and control was designed. A domestic 32-slice CT with small volume, light weight and high stability was selected to design a vehicle-mounted mobile CT suitable for emergency medical rescue.@*RESULTS@#The high-performance vehicle-mounted mobile CT can provide rapid support, and provide large-scale screening, emergency medical rescue, a supplement to daily CT scanning in peacetime and wartime.@*CONCLUSIONS@#The vehicle CT has high stability, fast scanning speed and high social and economic value.

ObjectiveTo summarize the clinical features and prognosis of pulmonary mucormycosis (PM) in southern China, and to explore the diagnostic value of metagenomic next generation sequencing (mNGS) in PM. MethodsThe clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of patients diagnosed with PM in The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from January 1, 2019 to January 31, 2022 who had undergone mNGS detection in lung tissue or alveolar lavage fluid were collected retrospectively. A total of 14 patients with PM were included, including 4 patients with confirmed diagnosis and 10 patients with clinical diagnosis. ResultsAll patients had underlying medical conditions, with hematological malignancies and diabetes being the most common. The most common symptoms were fever (n = 10), cough (n = 9) and shortness of breath (n = 9). Consolidation was the most common sign of chest CT, followed by mass, mostly with cavity. On laboratory tests, decreased CD4+T lymphocytes, elevated CD8+T lymphocytes, and decreased CD4+/CD8+ ratio, and presentation with pleural effusion indicate poor prognosis. The positive rate of mNGS diagnosis was 78.5%, which was significantly higher than that of histopathology (50%), fungus rapid fluorescence staining (61.5%) and fungal culture (23.1%) of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid. ConclusionsPulmonary mucormycosis is more likely to occur in patients with underlying diseases or who are immunocompromised. The clinical manifestations lack specificity. The low CD4/CD8 ratio and presentation of pleural effusion on CT imaging indicate poor prognosis of patients. mNGS is a rapid, convenient and sensitive method for the diagnosis of PM, which has advantages in the diagnosis of pulmonary mucormycosis.

This paper aimed to study the effect of Dalbergia cochinchinensis heartwood on plasma endogenous metabolites in rats with ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery, and to analyze the mechanism of D. cochinchinensis heartwood in improving acute myocardial ischemic injury. The stability and consistency of the components in the D. cochinchinensis heartwood were verified by the establishment of fingerprint, and 30 male SD rats were randomly divided into a sham group, a model group, and a D. cochinchinensis heartwood(6 g·kg~(-1)) group, with 10 rats in each group. The sham group only opened the chest without ligation, while the other groups established the model of ligation. Ten days after administration, the hearts were taken for hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining, and the content of heart injury indexes in the plasma creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB) and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), energy metabolism-related index glucose(Glu) content, and vascular endothelial function index nitric oxide(NO) was determined. The endogenous metabolites were detected by ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-time-of-flight-mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS). The results showed that the D. cochinchinensis heartwood reduced the content of CK-MB and LDH in the plasma of rats to relieve myocardial injury, reduced the content of Glu in the plasma, improved myocardial energy metabolism, increased the content of NO, cured the vascular endothelial injury, and promoted vasodilation. D. cochinchinensis heartwood improved the increase of intercellular space, myocardial inflammatory cell infiltration, and myofilament rupture caused by ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery. The metabolomic study showed that the content of 26 metabolites in the plasma of rats in the model group increased significantly, while the content of 27 metabolites decreased significantly. Twenty metabolites were significantly adjusted after the administration of D. cochinchinensis heartwood. D. cochinchinensis heartwood can significantly adjust the metabolic abnormality in rats with ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery, and its mechanism may be related to the regulation of cardiac energy metabolism, NO production, and inflammation. The results provide a corresponding basis for further explaining the effect of D. cochinchinensis on the acute myocardial injury.

Persistent neurogenesis exists in the subventricular zone (SVZ) of the ventricles and the subgranular zone (SGZ) of the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus in the adult mammalian brain. Adult endogenous neurogenesis not only plays an important role in the normal brain function, but also has important significance in the repair and treatment of brain injury or brain diseases. This article reviews the process of adult endogenous neurogenesis and its application in the repair of traumatic brain injury (TBI) or ischemic stroke, and discusses the strategies of activating adult endogenous neurogenesis to repair brain injury and its practical significance in promoting functional recovery after brain injury.

@#Abstract: Objective To investigate the species distribution and the antifungal susceptibility of fungi originating from positive blood cultures in Guangdong, so as to provide a basis for the rational use of antifungal drugs in clinical fungal bloodstream infections. Methods All data were collected for retrospective study from monitoring units of the Guangdong Fungal Disease Surveillance Network between 2019-2021, including clinical characteristics, species distribution and antifungal susceptibility. Results A total of 3 589 fungi strains were isolated, most of which were Candida spp. (86.5%, 3 105/3 589). The most common species was Candida albicans (36.6%, 1 315/3 589), followed by Candida tropicalis (17.4%, 1 626/3 589) and Candida parapsilosis (14.5%, 520/3 589). There were 42.1%(1 512/3 589) of strains isolated from ICU. The proportions of Candida albicans strains were 40.0%-50.0% among ICU, general surgery, organ transplantation and emergency department. Candida tropicalis (60.0%, 144/240) was the most common species in hematology department. Both Cryptococcus neoformans (35.4%, 69/195) and Talaromyces marneffei (35.9%,70/195) were common in infection department. All of the Candida isolates were of wild-type (WT) phenotype to amphotericin B. Resistance rates of caspofungin and micafungin for Candida spp. ranged from 0.0% to 4.2%. The resistance rates of Candida tropicalis to fluconazole and voriconazole were 42.3% and 38.9%, which were significantly higher than other common Candida spp. The cryptococcus neoformans strains were totally of WT phenotype to fluconazole and voriconazole. Conclusions Candida albicans is the most common species originating from positive blood cultures in Guangdong Province. Common Candida strains are highly sensitive to echinocandins and amphotericin B. Candida tropicalis has a high resistance rate to triazole drugs.

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the causes of soft tissue complications in patients with dorsal displacement distal radius fractures (DRF) after volar locking plate surgery.@*METHODS@#From July 2016 to May 2021, 112 patients with dorsal displacement DRF were treated with volar locking plate surgery, including 45 males and 67 females. The average age was (46.24±10.08) years old, ranging from 18 to 85 years old. According to whether there were soft tissue complications after operation, they were divided into complication group (40 cases) and non complication group (72 cases). Compared with preoperation, the radial metacarpal inclination and ulnar deflection angle, wrist flexion activity and dorsal extension activity, and grip strength of patients after operation were significantly improved (P<0.05). Compared with the non complication group, the proportion of patients in the complication group whose age was>60 years, body mass index (BMI) more than 30 kg·m-2, smoking, diabetes, fracture type C, open fracture and operation time more than 90 min was higher (P<0.05). The age, BMI, smoking, diabetes, fracture AO classification, fracture type and operation time were analyzed by multifactor Logistic regression to determine the independent risk factors affecting the occurrence of postoperative soft tissue complications of patients, establish a nomogram prediction model, and evaluate the model.@*RESULTS@#At the latest follow-up, the excellent and good rate of wrist joint function recovery was 83.93% (94/112), and the excellent and good rate of fracture reduction was 84.82% (95/112). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age more than 60 years old, diabetes, fracture type C, open fracture and operation time more than 90 min were independent risk factors for postoperative soft tissue complications (P<0.05). The receiver operating characteristic (ROC), calibration curve and clinical decision curve of the nomogram prediction model showed discrimination, accuracy and validity were good.@*CONCLUSION@#Age more than 60 years, diabetes mellitus, fracture type C, open fracture, and operation time more than 90 min are all independent risk factors for soft tissue complications after DRF volar plate fixation. In clinical treatment, perioperative soft tissue management should be done in such patients to prevent complications.

Objective:To explore the relation of plasma Elabela with 3-month prognoses in large vessel occlusion-acute ischemic stroke (LVO-AIS) patients accepted endovascular thrombectomy (EVT).Methods:A prospective study was performed; 94 LVO-AIS patients aceepted EVT in Department of Neurology, Anhui Provincal Hospital, Anhui Medical University from August 2020 to August 2022 were selected. Plasma Elabela was detected before EVT, and 24 and 72 h after EVT. Modified Rankin scale (mRS) was used to evaluate the prognoses of the patients 3 months after EVT; differences in clinical data and plasma Elabela level between the good prognosis group and poor prognosis group were compared. Independent influencing factors for prognoses of LVO-AIS patients 3 months after EVT were analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to analyze the efficacy of Elabela in predicting prognoses of patients with LVO-AIS 3 months after EVT.Results:Compared with the poor prognosis group, the good prognosis group had significantly lower percentages of patients with stroke history and diabetes, and lower NIHSS scores at admission ( P<0.05). Elabela level in the good prognosis group was significantly higher than that in the poor prognosis group 72 h after EVT ( P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that stroke history ( OR=0.148, P=0.037, 95% CI: 0.025-0.889), diabetes mellitus ( OR=0.148, P=0.037, 95% CI: 0.025-0.889), hypertension history ( OR=3.488, P=0.024, 95% CI: 1.177-10.339), and Elabela level 72 h after EVT ( OR=1.064, P=0.005, 95% CI: 1.019-1.111) were independent influencing factors for prognoses of LVO-AIS patients 3 months after EVT. ROC curve showed that area under ROC curve of plasma Elabela level 72 h after EVT in predicting prognosies of LVO-AIS patients 3 months after surgery was 0.718 ( P<0.001, 95% CI: 0.614-0.822). Conclusion:Plasma Elabela level 72 h after EVT may be a potential prognostic biomarker for LVO-AIS patients after EVT.

Objective: To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of Yersinia enterocolitica in patients with diarrhea in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Methods: Active surveillance of diarrhea was conducted in 14 sentinel hospitals (three tertiary-level hospitals, nine secondary-level hospitals, and two primary-level hospitals) from January 2013 to December 2019 in Pudong New Area of Shanghai, China base on their location, catchment area, and patient volume. Cold enrichment method was used to isolate Y. enterocolitica and further detection of bioserotype, virulence genes and antimicrobial susceptibility of the isolates were conducted. The difference of rates was determined using chi-square test or Fisher's exact test. Results: A total of 12 941 diarrhea cases were included, and 0.7% (88/12 941) cases were confirmed with Yersinia enterocolitica infection. 67.0% (59/88) cases were single infection, 33.0% (29/88) cases were mixed infections. Detection rates of Y. enterocolitica increased annually (0.3%-1.2%) and were highest in children<5 years of age (1.1%, 37/3 218) and in spring (1.1%, 32/2 998) (χ2 were 18.64 and 9.76, respectively, P<0.05). 58.0% (51/88) cases had watery diarrhea, 15.9% (14/88) had fever and 14.8% (13/88) had vomiting. The predominant bioserotypes were 3/O:3 (53.4%, 47/88), followed by 1A/O:8 (15.9%, 14/88) and 1A/O:5(6.8%, 6/88), respectively. Bioserotype 3/O:3 counted for the highest proportions (89.2%, 33/37) in children <5 years of age. All the strains of bioserotype 3/O:3 harbored ail, ystA, yadA and virF genes, which encoded pathogenic Y. enterocolitica. 11/14 strain of 1A/O:8 and 4/6 strains of 1A/O:5 harbored ystB gene. Most strains were resistant to ampicillin (80.7%,71/88) and amoxicillin/clavulanic acid (71.6%,63/88), and 63.8% (56/88) strains were multidrug resistance (MDR). The difference of antimicrobial resistance rates between 3/O:3 and non 3/O:3 was statistically significant in ampicillin, cefoxitin, nalidixic acid, tetracycline and ampicillin/sulbactam (χ2 was 14.68, 43.80, 41.86, 30.54 and 5.07, respectively, P<0.05). Conclusion: The detection rate of Yersinia enterocolitica was higher in children than in adults in Pudong New Area , Shanghai. The predominant bioserotype was pathogenic 3/O:3 with multidrug resistance.

@#[摘 要] 目的:设计并制备一种分别靶向B细胞表面抗原CD19和CD22的CAR-T细胞,检测其对肿瘤细胞的体内外杀伤效果。方法:将含有人源化 CD19 ScFv的二代CAR分子和带有CD3ε链作为共刺激结构域的CD22 ScFv CAR分子以P2A自剪切肽连接,序列连接于慢病毒载体pLTR-CMV-MCS中,以HEK-293T细胞包装相应的慢病毒载体,感染健康志愿者提供的T细胞制备CAR-19-22-T细胞,同时以相同二代结构分别构建单靶向CAR-T细胞作为参照。构建表达荧光素酶、CD19和/或CD22的前列腺癌3M细胞(靶细胞)。将各种CAR-T细胞与靶细胞共同培养,采用荧光素酶化学发光法和ELISA法检测其对靶细胞的杀伤能力和细胞因子的分泌水平。通过尾静脉注射Raji-Luc细胞构建NOD-SCID免疫缺陷小鼠白血病模型,分别注射各组CAR-T细胞进行治疗并评估其疗效。结果:培养7 d的CAR-19-22-T细胞的CAR-19表达率为13.7%,CAR-22表达率为14.3%。CAR-19-22-T细胞在10∶1效靶比时,对3M-CD19-Luc、3M-CD22-Luc和3M-CD19-CD22-Luc细胞的杀伤率均显著高于T细胞[(78.1±14.4)% vs (11.1±4.3)%、(46.7±10.7)% vs (12.4±2.7)%、(90.5±4.3)% vs (14.3±3.7)%,均P<0.01];与3M-CD19-Luc、3M-CD22-Luc、3M-CD19-CD22-Luc靶细胞共培养后,CAR-19-22-T细胞IFN-γ、TNF-α和IL-2水平均显著低于CAR-19-T和CAR-22-T细胞(P<0.05或P<0.01)。CAR-19-22-T细胞对移植Raji-Luc细胞模型小鼠治疗效果明显,其生存期显著长于T细胞组(P<0.01),与CAR-19-T组和CAR-22-T组荷瘤小鼠比较差异均无统计学意义(均P>0.05)。结论:成功设计并制备了一种双靶点CAR-19-22-T细胞,其能够有效杀伤表达CD19和/或CD22抗原的肿瘤细胞,对Raji-Luc细胞的白血病模型小鼠有显著的治疗效果。

Objective To locate the distribution of muscle spindles in tibialis anterior (TA) and extensor digitorum longus muscle (EDL) and the anchoring mode of muscle spindles in skeletal muscles, and perform statistics analysis of their morphological character by anatomical parameters. Methods Five adult wild type C57BL/6 mice were sacrificed, and TA and EDL were dissected and frozen with improved ultra-low temperature cryopreservation technology avoiding myofibers damaged by possible ice crystal. Continuous frozen transections were obtained and operated by HE staining, followed by microimaging to spot the muscle spindles location. Some parameters including regions length and cross section area (CSA) of muscle spindles were noticed for the discovery of some general characteristics of spindles by statistics. Results For TA and EDL, the scattered characters of muscle spindles were distributed as follows: the spindles were located at the upper third of the mid-belly of both TA and EDL from caudal to rostral position, while near the enter point to muscle of the deep peroneal nerve in dorsal-ventral orientation. The peripheral of muscle spindles anchored to extrafusal fibers to hold in the muscle. And in term of length, region A, connected with sensory nerve ending, demonstrated a significant correlation with region B, which located at the poles of region A and twined by motor nerve ending (correlation index = 0. 75) when considering the muscle spindles with four intrafusal fibers only. And no correlation was discovered in any others pairwise parameters. Conclusion The scattered diagram of muscle spindles in TA and EDL of C57BL/6 mice might provide anatomic basis for evaluation of lower limb motor function, especially for the spinal cord injury and recovery research. And the correlationship between the length of region A and B might improve exploring the variability of electrophysiological characters.

Objective:To investigate the influencing factors for prognoses of patients with acute basilar artery occlusion (BAO) receiving bridging therapy (intravenous thrombolysis [IVT] combined with endovascular treatment [EVT]).Methods:The clinical and imaging data of 404 patients with acute BAO accepted bridging therapy were collected from Endovascular Treatment for acute Basilar Artery Occlusion (ATTENTION) database. The prognoses of these patients were evaluated by modified Rankin Scale (mRS) 90 d after treatment. The differences of clinical and imaging data between patients with good prognosis and poor prognosis were compared, and the independent influencing factors for prognoses were analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression.Results:Among 404 patients with acute BAO, 156 (39%) had good prognosis and 248 (61%) had poor prognosis. Compared with the good prognosis group, the poor prognosis group had significantly higher proportions of patients older than 65 years, patients with NIHSS scores>20 on admission, and patients with thrombectomy frequency>1, significantly lower proportion of patients with successful vascular recanalization, and significantly different distribution of occlusive sites ( P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that NIHSS scores on admission>20 ( OR=0.510, 95%CI: 0.331-0.786, P=0.002), and occlusion site at the distal basilar artery ( OR=2.241, 95%CI: 1.357-3.702, P=0.002), thrombectomy frequency>1 ( OR=0.523, 95%CI: 0.339-0.807, P=0.003) and successful vascular recanalization ( OR=2.022, 95%CI: 1.032-3.961, P=0.040) were independent influencing factors for good prognosis of these patients. Conclusion:Acute BAO patients with NIHSS scores>20 on admission, thrombectomy frequency>1, non-distal BAO occlusion, and unsuccessful recanalization have poor prognosis after bridging therapy.

Objective@#To understand the effect of pregnancyrelated anxiety on preschool childrens executive functions(EFs) and gender difference in order to optimize the early development environment of offspring life.@*Methods@#This study was based on the ChinaAnhui Birth Cohort Study. Pregnant women from Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital in Maanshan, Anhui province between October 2008 and October 2010 were recruited. The general information of pregnant women and the pregnancyrelated anxiety were collected prospectively in the first trimester of pregnancy. A cohort of 3 556 children aged 3-5 were followed up and their basic characteristics were collected. Executive function of preschool children was assessed by Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive FunctionPreschool Version(BRIEF) (parent version).@*Results@#In boys, compared with the control group, pregnancyrelated anxiety in the first trimester of pregnancy was associated with the risk of abnormality in working memory, planning/organization and GEC[OR(95%CI)=1.40(1.06-1.85), 1.64(1.06-2.54), 1.89(1.27-2.82)]. Anxiety in the both trimesters of pregnancy was associated with the risk of abnormality in inhibition, working memory, planning/organization and GEC[OR(95%CI)=2.60(1.45-4.67), 2.45(1.69-3.57), 2.23(1.28-3.88), 3.27(2.03-5.28)]. In girls, pregnancyrelated anxiety in the first trimester of pregnancy was associated with the risk of abnormality in inhibition and working memory[OR(95%CI)=1.79(1.13-2.83), 1.45(1.07-1.98)]. Anxiety in the third trimester of pregnancy was associated with the risk of abnormality in inhibition[OR(95%CI)=2.26(1.17-4.38)]. Anxiety in both trimesters of pregnancy was associated with the risk of abnormality in inhibition and working memory[OR(95%CI)=2.45(1.40-4.28), 2.02(1.35-3.01)].@*Conclusion@#Pregnancyrelated anxiety significantly affected the executive function of preschool children, and there was a significant doseresponse relationship. Pregnancyrelated anxiety primarily affects working memory, planning/organization and GEC function in boys, and the working memory, inhibition function in girls.

Objective: To investigate the feasibility of endoscopic lateral neck dissection via the breast and transoral approaches (ELNDBTOA) for papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC). Methods: From February 2015 to April 2019, 10 patients with PTC (cN1b) including 1 male and 9 females aged from 22 to 53 years old received ELNDBTOA in the General Surgery Department of Zhongshan Hospital, Xiamen University. Total thyroidectomy, the central lymph node dissection and the selective neck dissection (levels Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ) were performed endoscopically via the breast approach, and then the residual lymph nodes were dissected via transoral approach. The medical records, operation time, blood loss, complications and postoperative follow-up outcomes were analyzed retrospectively. SPSS 22.0 software package was used for statistical processing of clinical data of patients. Results: All cases were successfully treated with ELNDBTOA without transfer to open surgery. The average operative time was (362.5±79.7) min, the blood loss was (23.0±14.9) ml, and the postoperative hospital stay was (5.1±1.3) days. The mean number of harvested cervical lymph nodes were (34.2±25.8), and the mean number of positive lymph nodes were (6.5±4.9). Lymph nodes were dissected by the further dissection via oral approach in 6 patients and a total of 9 lateral lymph nodes were havested from 2 of the 6 patients, with 3 positive lymph nodes. Two patients had transient skin numbness in the mandibular area and recovered within two weeks. One patient developed transient hypoparathyroidism and recovered within two months. No secondary bleeding, recurrent laryngeal nerve paralysis, chylous leakage, neck infection, permanent hypoparathyroidism or other complications were observed. The follow-up time was from 16 to 66 months with a median of 42.5 months, no tumor recurrence or metastasis occurred, and also no obvious deformity, abnormal sensation or movement in the chest, neck and mouth was observed. Conclusions: ELNBTOA is safe and feasible, with good cosmetic outcome.

Objective To forecast the trend of mosquito density index in Pudong New Area, Shanghai so as to provide evidence for disease control and risk-control measures for vector-borne diseases. Methods Mosquito monitoring data was collected in Pudong New Area between 2011 and 2015 at the city-level monitoring sites for analysis on the trend of the mosquito density index in Pudong New Area of Shanghai by using the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Model (ARIMA). Results From 2011 to 2015, a total of 135 times labor-hour monitoring were carried out at the city-level monitoring points in Pudong New Area.The mosquito density index averaged 6.17/labor-hour with a standard deviation at 4.93, S=[0, 18]/labor-hour.Using ARIMA to analyze the change trend of mosquito density index in Pudong New Area, ARIMA(2, 0, 1)became the final fitting model, with R2=0.808.In the model, the Ljung-Box Q test value was 19.632(AR1=1.866, AR2=-0.907), and MA parameter was 0.999. Conclusion ARIMA model can be used to predict mosquito density monitoring data, but low monitoring frequency and irregular cycle length will affect the prediction results.

Objective: To explore the gait trajectory characteristics and effectiveness after unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA). Methods: Thirty patients (30 knees) with anterior medial compartment osteoarthritis who were treated with UKA between January 2017 and December 2018 were selected as subjects (UKA group). According to age, gender, and side, 30 patients (30 knees) with knee osteoarthritis treated with total knee arthroplasty (TKA) were selected as control (TKA group). In addition to the range of motion (ROM) before operation showing significant difference between the two groups ( t=4.25, P=0.00), there was no significant difference in gender, age, disease duration, sides, body mass index, and preoperative hip-knee-ankle angle (HKA), Western Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) score between the two groups ( P>0.05). The incision length, drainage volume within 24 hours after operation, and the changes of hemoglobin and albumin were recorded. The WOMAC score, ROM, and HKA before and after operation were compared between the two groups. At 1 year after operation, the gait trajectory characteristics of two groups were analyzed by Vicon three-dimensional gait capture system, and the absolute symmetry index (ASI) of the lower limbs of the two groups was calculated. Results: The incisions of the two groups healed by first intention, with no complications. The incision length, drainage volume within 24 hours, and the changes of hemoglobin and albumin after operation in the UKA group were significantly smaller than those in the control group ( P0.05). The ASI of bilateral knee flexion in the UKA group was significantly greater than that in the TKA group during the initial contact and loading response period ( P<0.05). Conclusion: Compared with TKA, UKA has the advantages of small incision, less blood loss, and quicker functional recovery. The early gait after UKA is mainly manifested as the increase in walking speed, stride length, knee flexion at swing, and extension at mid-stance phase. From the analysis of gait symmetry, during the initial contact and loading response phase, the operation side after UKA undertakes more shock absorption and joint stabilization functions than the contralateral side.

BACKGROUND@#The symptomatic bradyarrhythmia is Class I indication for pacing therapy which is not a radical cure. The present study aimed to assess the feasibility and to present the initial results of the restricted ablation of the parasympathetic innervation surrounding sinus and atrioventricular (AV) nodes for treating patients with bradyarrhythmia.@*METHODS@#A total of 13 patients with cardiogenic syncope were included from May 2008 to June 2015. Under the guidance of fluoroscopy and /or three-dimensional geometry by 64-slice spiral computed tomography, atrial activation sequence in sinus rhythm was mapped. Chamber geometry was reconstructed manually or automatically using the Niobe II magnetic navigation system integrated with the CARTO-remote magnetic technology (RMT) system. Cardioneuroablation was targeted at the high-amplitude fractionated electrograms surrounding the regions of His bundle and the site with the earliest activation in sinus rhythm. Areas surrounding the sinus node, AV node, and the phrenic nerve were avoided.@*RESULTS@#Thirteen patients completed the studies. Ablation was successfully performed in 12 patients and failed in one. The high-frequency potential was recorded in atrial electrograms surrounding the sinus or AV nodes in all the patients and disappeared in 15 s after radiofrequency applications. The vagal reaction was observed before the improvement of the sinus and AV node function. No complications occurred during the procedures. Patients were followed up for a mean of 13.0 ± 5.9 months. During the follow up ten patients remained free of symptoms, and two patients had a permanent cardiac pacemaker implanted due to spontaneous recurrence of syncope. The heart rate of post-ablation was higher than pre-ablation (69.0 ± 11.0 vs. 49.0 ± 10.0 beats/min, t = 4.56, P = 0.008). The sinus node recovery time, Wenckebach block point, and atrium-His bundle interval were significantly shorter after ablation (1386.0 ± 165.0 vs. 921.0 ± 64.0 ms, t = 7.45, P = 0.002; 590.0 ± 96.0 vs. 464.0 ± 39.0 ms, t = 2.38, P = 0.023; 106.0 ± 5.0 vs. 90.0 ± 12.0 ms, t = 9.80, P = 0.013 before and after ablation procedure, respectively).@*CONCLUSIONS@#Ablation of sinoatrial and AV nodal peripheral fibrillar myocardium electrical activity might provide a new treatment to ameliorate paroxysmal sinus node dysfunction, high degree AV block, and vagal-mediated syncope.

IVIM and gadolinium-ethoxybenzyl-diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (Gd-EOB-DTPA) enhanced T1ρ images were performed by a 3.0 T MR scanner. The inter-class correlation coefficients (ICC) and Bland-Altman analysis were applied to evaluate the reproducibility of the IVIM and Gd-EOB-DTPA enhanced T1ρ mapping measurers. Spearman correlation analysis were used to assess the correlation between MR metrics, including ADC, D, D*, f, T1ρ, T1ρ (hepatobiliary phase, HBP), and NAS score and inflammation grades respectively with reference to histopathology. ROC curve analysis was used to evaluate the diagnostic performance of T1ρ and IVIM parameters for NASH, inflammation grade, and hepatic fibrosis. Multiple linear regression equations were used to analyze the independent influence factors of T1ρ (HBP).@*Results@#The f value was negatively correlated with the NAS score (r=-0.530, P<0.01). The f value of the fibrosis S1-2 was significantly lower than that of the S0 (P<0.01). There was no statistical difference in D, D*, ADC among NASH score, inflammation, and fibrosis stage. T1ρ and T1ρ (HBP) values were positively correlated with NAS scores and inflammation grades. The area under curve (AUC) for the diagnosis of NASH for T1ρ, T1ρ(HBP), ADC, D, D*, and f values were 0.849, 0.949, 0.728, 0.596, 0.522, and 0.871, respectively. The AUCs of T1ρ (HBP)+f in the diagnosis of NASH, G2-3 inflammation, and F1-2 fibrosis were 0.971, 0.935, and 0.903, respectively. Fibrosis (R2=0.624, P=0.002) and inflammation (R2=0.746, P=0.002) were major independent factors of T1ρ (HBP).@*Conclusion@#Gd-EOB-DTPA enhanced T1ρ imaging can reflect the severity of NASH and degree of inflammation. IVIM measurements are not accurate enough to stage liver inflammatory activity of NASH. T1ρ (HBP)+f might be a superior noninvasive imaging biomarker than either non-enhanced T1ρ or IVIM for NASH activity and inflammation assessments.

Objective@#To detect pathogenic gene variants in two Chinese families with cone-rod dystrophy(CORD).@*Methods@#After the informed consent and comprehensive ophthalmic examinations for the patients, 3 mL peripheral blood was taken from the patients’ blood vessel and DNA was extracted. The DNA was sequenced by whole-exome sequencing technology and variants were analyzed.@*Results@#Two novel compound heterozygous AIPL1 variants were detected in two patients, which were c. 923T>C(p.L308P) and c. 421C>T(p.Q141X) variants in Family 1, c. 572T>C(p.L191P) and c. 421C>T(p.Q141X) in Family 2 .@*Conclusion@#The results supported that AIPL1 gene variants are the main cause of the two CORD families. Whole-exome sequencing technology is a useful tool in the clinical differentiated diagnosis and genetic counseling for CORD patients.
