RESUMO
Based on promoting the " sports and health integration" and with the aim of the positive role of traditional sports in promoting public health in an all-round and whole-cycle way, this paper uses the literature research method to explore the connotation of traditional sports in ancient Chinese books and literatures, such as " treating no diseases" , " treating mild diseases" , " treating desired diseases" and " treating existing diseases" . The traditional exercise prescription is interpreted from the modern language such as the amount of exercise and intensity, application time, role, standardization and matters needing attention, so as to provide the theoretical basis for the integration of traditional exercise prescription into grassroots health management by providing exercise promotion services for healthy, sub-healthy, sick and rehabilitated people.
RESUMO
SUMMARY: This study aimed to investigate the microstructure and ultrastructure of the Bursa cloacalis (Bursa of Fabricius) (BC) in young Leiothrix lutea at various days of age (a few days after hatching) using light microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The bird BC was sampled at 1, 5, 7, and 9 days of age. Immediately after dissection, the structure and integrity of the BC (not degenerative) were retained and the specific temporal features could be visualized precisely. After hematoxylin-eosin staining and uranyl acetate/lead citrate staining, the microstructure and ultrastructure of the BC, respectively, could be observed clearly. The microscopic observations revealed the following: in addition to change in the size of BC or lymphoid follicles, many cavities were found in the BC; the distribution of the lymphoid follicles in Leiothrix lutea was different from that in other birds; and the segregating line between the bursal cortex and medulla became increasingly clear as the age increased. In conclusion, the structural data obtained in this study provides a better understanding of the specific immunological function of the BC in Leiothrix lutea.

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the biomechanical affect of percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy(PTED) on adjacent segments with different degrees of degeneration and related risk of adjacent segment diseases (ASD) caused by this operation.@*METHODS@#A healthy male adult volunteer was selected, and the lumbosacral vertebra image data was obtained by CT scan, and the external contour of the bone structure was reconstructed. On this basis, the external contour of the bone structure was fitted by using the smooth curve in 3D-CAD software, and the complete three-dimensional finite element modelof the non degenerate L@*RESULTS@#In the finite element model without adjacent segmental disc degeneration, the annulus fibrosus von Mises stress and intradiscal pressure of the PTED model showed only a slight increase under most stress conditions, and a slight decrease in a few conditions, and there was no significant change trend before and after surgery. In the original degenerated adjacent segment disc model, the biomechanical indicators related to disc degeneration in the pre- and post-PTED model showed significant deterioration, leading to an increased risk of potential adjacent spondylopathy.@*CONCLUSION@#PTED surgery will not lead to the significant deterioration of postoperative biomechanical environment of non-degeneration adjacent intervertebral discs, and the original degeneration of adjacent intervertebral discs is a important risk factor for ASD.

Objective To assess the value of shear-wave elastography (SWE) of the liver and spleen for predicting the risk of esophageal-gastric varices (EGV) and the bleeding from EGV (EGVB) in patients with advanced schistosomiasis. Methods The medical records of 90 patients with definitive diagnosis of advanced schistosomiasis in Wuxi People’s Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University from January 2017 through January 2020 were retrospectively reviewed. The severity of EGV was graded in the 90 patients with advanced schistosomiasis using gastroscopic findings as a golden standard. Then, the subjects were assigned to the non-EGV and EGV groups, and the low- and high-risk EGVB groups according to the grading. The SWE elastic moduli of the liver and spleen were measured and compared between groups. In addition, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was plotted, and the area under the ROC curve (AUC) was estimated to evaluate the diagnostic efficiency of the SWE elastic moduli of the liver and spleen for predicting the high risk of EGV and EGVB. Results The 90 patients with advanced schistosomiasis included 61 men and 29 women, and had a mean age of (74.3 ± 8.6) years (range, 62 to 83 years). If gastroscopic findings were employed as a golden standard, there were 32 cases with grade 0 (35.5%), 17 cases with grade 1 (18.9%), 15 cases with grade 2 (16.7%) and 26 cases with grade 3 EGV (28.9%). There were 32 cases in the non-EGV group (35.6%) and 58 cases in the EGV group (64.4%), and 41 cases in the high-risk EGV group (45.6%) and 49 cases in the low-risk EGV group (54.4%), respectively. The SWE elastic moduli of the liver and spleen were both significantly greater in the EGV group than in the non-EGV group (t = 5.73 and 7.26, both P values < 0.05). The SWE elastic moduli of the liver and spleen had AUCs of 0.70 and 0.75, optimal cut-off of 16.1 kPa and 22.6 kPa, sensitivities of 80.6% and 83.9% and specificities of 71.4% and 78.6% for the prediction of EGV, respectively. In addition, the SWE elastic moduli of the liver and spleen were significantly greater in the high-risk EGVB groups than in the low-risk EGVB group (t = 7.35 and 9.61, both P values < 0.05), and the SWE elastic moduli of the liver and spleen had AUCs of 0.68 and 0.71, optimal cut-off of 22.7 kPa and 33.8 kPa, sensitivities of 70.4% and 73.6% and specificities of 89.3% and 93.1% for the prediction of high-risk EGV, respectively. Conclusions SWE is useful to predict the risk of EGV and EGVB in patients with advanced schistosomiasis.
RESUMO
Objective How to improve the operational safety of foraminoplasty has become a hot spot in present clinical research. This study was to observe the clinical effect of minimally invasive treatment of lumbar disc herniation by percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy (PTED) combined with dynamically assisted visualized intervertebral foraminoplasty (VIVF).Methods Totally, 61 patients with lumbar disc herniation underwent PTED combined with dynamically assisted VIVF in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from January to November 2017. We evaluated the clinical effects using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) and modified Macnab Criteria. Results The VAS scores of the patients were significantly lower at 3 days, 3 months and 6 months after surgery than the baseline (1.10±0.60, 1.03±0.26 and 1.07±0.31 vs 7.64±1.11, P<0.05), and so were the ODIs (2.10±0.54, 1.30±0.49 and 1.23±0.46 vs 34.46±3.57, P<0.05). The excellence rate of treatment 96.72% (59/61). None of the patients experienced such postoperative complications as nerve root injury, spinal injury, and dural matter, and no recurrence was observed. Conclusion PTED combined with dynamically assisted VIVF is safe and effective for the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.
RESUMO
Objective To study the effects of environmental factors, including high temperature, high humidity and low temprtature,on the quality of whole blood. Methods Fresh blood was collected from 9 blood donors and divided into 40 parts. One group that comprised 20 samples was used to assess the effects of storage at high temperature and high humidity (0,3,6,12 and 24 h),and the other group(20 samples)was used to determine the effects of low temprtature(0,1,2 and 3 h).The serum free hemoglobin(FHb)concentration, plasma prothrombin time(PT), activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),thrombin time(TT)and fibrinogen(FIB)were measured and analyzed. Results The high temperature(27-37℃)and humidity(60%-90%RH)had no effect on FHb, PT, APTT, TT or FIB of whole blood. The low temperature(0-13℃and -18--20℃)had some effect on the quality of whole blood. The FHb of test group was higher than that of control group. There was no significant difference in PT, APTT, TT and FIB between the two groups. Conclusion Under high temperature and humidity conditions, 24 hours of whole blood placement is feasible. Under low temperature or cold conditions,short-term whole blood placement is feasible in a tent with heating facilities.
RESUMO

OBJECTIVETo assess the beneficial and adverse effects of Wendan Decoction (温胆汤, WDD) for the treatment of schizophrenia.

METHODSFive electronic databases were searched until May 2014, including the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, the Chinese Scientist Journal Database, PubMed, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials in the Cochrane Library. The randomized controlled trials (RCTs) testing WDD against placebo, antipsychotic drugs, or WDD combined with antipsychotic drugs against antipsychotic drugs alone were included. Study selection, data extraction, quality assessment, and data analyses were conducted according to the Cochrane standards.

RESULTSThirteen RCTs (involving 1,174 patients) were included and the methodological quality was evaluated as generally low. The pooled results showed that WDD combined with antipsychotic drugs were more effective in clinical comprehensive effect, Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) scores and Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale scores compared with antipsychotic drugs alone. However, WDD had less effectiveness compared with antipsychotics in clinical comprehensive effect; and WDD was not different from antipsychotic drugs for PANSS scores. The side effects were significantly reduced in the intervention group compared with the control group.

CONCLUSIONSWDD appears to be effective on improving symptoms in patients with schizophrenia. However, due to poor methodological quality in the majority of the included trials, the potential benefit from WDD needs to be confirmed in rigorous trials and the design and reporting of trials should follow the international standards.
