RESUMO
BACKGROUND: Electrofabrication has broadened the structure, performance, and applications of biomedical materials. Through selecting appropriate materials and optimizing structures, tissue engineering scaffolds that conform to human physiological environment can be constructed, which is of considerable significance to promote the development of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. OBJECTIVE: To review the research progress of electrofabrication technology in tissue engineering. METHODS: Web of Science Core Collection and MEDLINE databases were searched for relevant articles with the search terms “tissue engineering scaffold, electrodeposition, electrofabrication, electrogelation, bioprinting, biomedical materials, biopolymers” in English. After screening articles based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, articles with higher relevance were retained for review. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Electrofabrication can apply electrical signals to regulate material pores or layered structures through precise spatial, temporal and quantitative control, can quickly and controllably construct functional tissue engineering scaffold materials with complicated microstructures, but without the introduction of organic solvents or other biotoxic substances during the processing. Although there have been many research results on the electrofabrication of biological materials, there are few studies on how the electrofabrication parameters affect the material structure and deposition dynamics, and further theoretical and modeling work is needed to understand the mechanism involved in electrofabrication.
RESUMO
@#Objective To apply the surface electromyography (sEMG) in the evaluation of hand motor function for patients with hemiplegia after stroke. Methods From January to August, 2018, 43 hemiplegic patients with hand dysfunction after stroke were selected. All the patients received comprehensive rehabilitation for four weeks. Their root mean square (RMS) and integrated electromyography (iEMG) of wrist flexor (WF), wrist extensor (WE), extensor digitorum (ED) and abductor pollicis brevis (APB) were measured before and after treatment, while they were assessed with Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) and Brunnstrom's stages for the affected hand. Results The FMA score and Brunnstrom's stages, as well as the RMS and iEMG of WF, WE, ED and APB increased after treatment (Z > 2.496, t > 5.361, P < 0.05). The FMA score positively correlated with the RMS and iEMG of WF, WE, ED and APB (r = 0.423-0.732, P < 0.05). The Brunnstrom's stages positively correlated with the RMS of WE, ED and ABP (r = 0.343-0.467, P < 0.05) and the iEMG of WF, WE and ABP (r = 0.223-0.328, P < 0.05). Multiple linear stepwise regression drew the RMS of ED and iEMG of WE as the related factors for FMA (t > 4.243, P < 0.001), and RMS of ED as the related factors for Brunnstrom's stages (t = 4.707, P < 0.001). Conclusions EMG is an effective tool to evaluate the motor function of hand for stroke patient as an objective and quantitative assessment, especially those of WE and ED.
RESUMO
Objective To study effects ofXiangsha Liujunzi Decoction (XSLJZ) on gastric emptying function, pepsin activity and expression of HIF-1α gene and protein of gastric mucosa in chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) of rats with deficiency of spleen and stomach. Methods Rats were randomly divided into normal group and model group. The models of CAG rats with deficiency of spleen and stomach type were induced by synthetic methods. After the modeling, models rats were divided into model group, positive control group and XSLJZ high-, medium-, and low-dose groups. Normal group and model group were given 10 mL/kg distilled water every day for gavage; XSLJZ high-, medium-, and low-dose groups were given 24, 12, and 6 g/kg XSLJZ Decoction for gavage; positive control group was given 0.30 g/kg Vatacoenayme for gavage, for successive 120 d. Gastric emptying function and pepsin activity were detected, and HIF-1α gene and protein expression in gastric mucosa were detected by RT-qPCR and IHC. Results Compared with the normal group, the gastric emptying function and pepsin activity in the model group were much lower (P<0.01); expressions of HIF-1α gene and protein in gastric tissues was much higher (P<0.01). Compared with model group, XSLJZ could increase the gastric emptying function and pepsin activity significantly (P<0.05), and decrease expressions of HIF-1α gene and protein (P<0.05).Conclusion XSLJZ has functions of improving the gastric emptying function, promoting pepsin activity, and reducing expressions of HIF-1α gene and protein.
RESUMO
Objective To observe the effects ofXiangsha Liujunzi Decoction (XSLJZ) on levels and mRNA of IL-6, IL-10 and protein expression of HSP70 of gastric mucosa in chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) rats with spleen-stomach deficiency; To discuss its mechanism. Methods Rats were divided into 2 groups through random number table: normal group and model group. The model of CAG rat with spleen-stomach deficiency type was induced by synthetic methods. After successful modeling, rats were divided into model group, positive control group, XSLJZ high-, medium-, low-dose group. Rats in normal and model group received distilled water 10 mL/(kg?d) for gavage; XSLJZ high-, medium-, low-dose group received XSLJZ 24, 12, 6 g/(kg?d), respectively; positive control group received mycin 0.30 g/(kg?d) for gavage for 120 consecutive days. Generally living conditions, levels and mRNA of IL-6, IL-10 and protein expression of HSP70 in gastric mucosa tissue were detected by protein immunoblotting. Results Compared with the normal group, generally living conditions of rats in the model group were poor; mRNA and the content of IL-6 increased significantly, and mRNA and the content of IL-10 decreased significantly (P<0.05,P<0.01); mRNA and protein expression of HSP70 in gastric tissues was much lower than that of normal group (P<0.05,P<0.01). Compared with model group, generally living conditions of rats in the XSLJZ high-dose groups were improved significantly; mRNA and the content of IL-6 decreased significantly, and mRNA and the content of IL-10 increased significantly (P<0.05); XSLJZ high-, medium-dose groups mRNA and protein expression of HSP70 in gastric tissues increased significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion XSLJZ has protective effects on gastric mucosa of CAG rats with spleen-stomach deficiency.
RESUMO
Community-based rehabilitation (CBR) is positioned to provide various strategies for people with disabilities for achieving the embracing development of the community. CBR is also the terminal of the three-level rehabilitation service system. This paper analyzed the status of domestic community-based rehabilitation based on the document, discussed the possible problems referred to the international concepts about CBR, and suggested a new service pattern of CBR based on the internet and information technology.
