RESUMO
Para simplificação do preparo dos canais radiculares e diminuição do tempo de trabalho têm sido propostas técnicas de instrumentação mecanizadas. O objetivo desse estudo foi analisar comparativamente o tempo despendido no preparo dos canais curvos simulados em blocos de resina, com a utilização dos sistemas rotatórios de Ni-Ti K3 e Profile.04 e das limas manuais de aço inoxidável K-Flexofile. Foi padronizada uma mesma técnica de instrumentação e os tempos foram registrados em minutos utilizando um cronômetro digital. Quando aplicado o teste de hipótese ANOVA foi observado que houve diferença significante (p-valor < 0,01) entre as médias de tempo. Utilizando o teste Post Hoc de Tukey foi constatado que o Grupo K3 diferiu dos demais grupos (p-valor = 0,000), apresentando o menor tempo despendido no preparo dos canais radiculares.
For simplification of the preparation of the root canals and reduction of the working time, have been proposed mechanized techniques of instrumentation. The purpose of this study was to compare the time expended in the preparation of simulated curved canals on resin blocks, with the use of the K3 and Profile.04 rotary NiTi instruments and of the stainless steel hand K-Flexofiles. One same technique of instrumentation was standardized and the expended times had been registered in minutes using a digital chronometer. When applied the test of hypothesis ANOVA it showed that it had significant difference (p-valor<0,01) between the time averages. Using the Post Hoc de Tukey test it evidenced that the K3 group differed from the other groups (p-value = 0,000), presenting the shorter time expended in the preparation of the root canals.
