RESUMO
Os componentes protéticos são peças fundamentais para a adaptação das coroas aos implantes. Dentre eles surgiu o pilar UCLA, projetado para receber um enceramento e depois ser inclu¡do como padrão a ser calcinado no processo de fundição para obtenção da estrutura metálica da prótese que iria diretamente sobre o implante. No entanto, o mesmo exige do cirurgião bom senso em sua indicação, principalmente em casos de angulações dos implantes, onde ocorre a necessidade de se trabalhar com componentes angulados em função do parafuso. Surgiu então UCLA 360 que pode ser angulado manualmente a qualquer ângulo entre 0 e 20 e após a fundição, pode ser efetuado o torque no parafuso em qualquer posição devido sua chave especial. Baseado nesse novo conceito, a resolução de casos de implantes com angulações desfavoráveis ficou muito mais fácil, restabelecendo o ângulo de convergência da prótese, independentemente da posição de colocação do implante
The prosthetic components are fundamental tools on the adaptation of crowns to implants. Among them the UCLA abutment was designed to receive waxing and then be included as standard to be calcined in the casting process for obtaining the metal structure of the prosthesis that would be applied directly over the implant. However, its indication must be carefully evaluated by the surgeon; especially in cases of angulation of the implant where there is the need to work with angled components depending on the screw. Then was created the UCLA 360, which can be angled manually at any angle between 0ø and 20, and the torque can be performed after casting in any position on the bolt due to its special key. Based on this new concept, the resolution of cases of implants with unfavorable angles became much easier, restoring the convergence angle of the prosthesis, regardless the position of implant placement
