The inhibitory activity of the protein-tyrosine kinase was tested on different extracts of Ononis sicula Guss. [Leguminosae]. Four known flavonoids; namely, pseudobaptigenin, eupatilin, jaceosidin and hispidulin, were isolated from the active 90% methanol extract.
