RESUMO

Objective To analyze the clinical value of gastric bacterial cultivation in the early diagnosis of bacterial infection in preterm infants. Methods 174 preterm with risk perinatal factors of infection in NICU of Chang’an Hospital from January 2013 to December 2014 were collected, they were given the gastric juice cultivation checking in 1 hour after birth before eat-ing,watering and giving medicine.According to the clinical symptoms and laboratory test results, they were divided into the infected group and non-infected group.Their Gastric cultivation inspection was compared and analyzed in two groups. Results The positive rate of bacterial culture of gastric fluid was 40.8% (71/174),and located in the top four is Escherichia coli 30.99% (22/71),coagulase-negative staphylococci 21.13%(15/71),Staphylococcus aureus 14.08%(10/71)and group B streptococcus 8.45% (6/71).There was relation between premature infants with bacterial culture positive and meconium stained amniotic fluid, maternal infection during pregnancy, premature rupture of membranes, but not with gestational hyper-tension,fever unrelated to the mother giving birth. Conclusion There was high positive rate of gastric juice bacterial culture with a significant correlation of early onset infection.

RESUMO

Objective To observe influence of Benazepril combined with Jinshuibao capsules on urine protein and Ccr in patients hypertensive renal disease. Methods 47 hypertensive renal disease patients were randomly divided into control group and combine group. Patients in control group were treated with Benazepril, while patients in combined group were treated Jinshuibao plus Benazepril. Clinic index change after treatment for 9 weeks was observed, and calculation endogenous creatinine clearance rate was calculated. Results After treatment for 9 weeks urine protein in 24 hours of two groups were both lower than before( t1 = 1. 9997 ,t2 = 3.3088 ,P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01 ),while the endogenous creatinine clearance rate were both higher than before ( t1 = 1. 3990, t2 = 1. 4442, P > 0. 05 ), and the press were all in improvment ( t1 = 2.0047, t2 = 2.4557, t3 = 2.0426, t4 = 2.4026, P < 0. 05 ); urine protein in 24 hours of combine group was lower than control group( t = 2.0015,P < 0. 05) Conclusion Benazepril plus Jinshuibao capsules could obviously abate urine protein on patients with hypertensive disease and hypertensive renal disease

RESUMO

Objective To explore the influence of high fat diet on the intestinal gene expression profile in C57BL/6 mice. Method C57BL/6 mice were randomly assigned to two groups (n=8). The control group consumed an ordinary diet. The experimental group was fed with a high fat diet. All mice were sacrificed at the end of 6 w and the intestinal gene expressions were detected by oligonucleotide microarray analysis with Affymetrix GeneChip Mouse U430A consisting of 13 097 genes. Results Among the 13 097 genes obtained from gene expression profile analysis, there were 88 and 179 genes up -and down-regulated respectively, in mice fed with high fat diet compared with the control. The differentially expressed genes were mainly related to free radical oxidative stress, DNA repair, induction of apoptosis, transport, signal transduction and inflammation immune response. Conclusion High fat diet may widely modulate the expression of many genes in the intestine in mice.

RESUMO

Objective To increase the yield of antitumor substances from marine actinomycete ACMA006 strain. Methods Fermentation conditions were studied, including combination of medium, the age of strain, ventilatory capacity and cultivation time. Results The results showed that the best medium was as following: soya powder 10g,tryptone 5g,yeast extract paste 10g,soluble starch 15g,glycerol 15g,KH2PO4 0.5g,sea water 1000mL,pH7.2.The best culture conditions were temperature 28℃,the age of the strain 6d,the liquid volume of culture medium 50mL in 150mL Triangular flask, and cultivation time 8d.Conclusion At last 78.1g?L-1 biomass was obtained and the inhibition rate on human liver cancer cells HepG2 was 93.7% when the broth was diluted 4000 times.

RESUMO

AIM:To elucidate the molecular mechanisms of lipoic acid (LA) on redox regulation and digestive function in intestine of C57BL/6 mice fed high fat diet (HFD).METHODS:C57BL/6 mice were randomly assigned to one of three groups (n=8). The control group consumed an ordinary diet. The other two experimental groups were fed with a high fat diet, high fat plus 0.1% LA. After 6 weeks, the activities of digestive enzymes were examined. In order to evaluate the antioxidant status of the mice, superoxide dismutase (SOD),malondialdehyde (MDA),total antioxidant capacity (TAC) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) in intestinal homogenate were measured. To investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the effects of LA,the gene expression profiles in intestine were examined using the GeneChip microarray system.RESULTS:A depressed antioxidant defense system, accompanied by digestive and absorptive function impairment, was observed in HFD-fed mice. These changes were partially restored in the LA-treated group. DNA microarray analysis of intestine showed that LA ingestion up-regulated the expression of genes related to free-radical scavenger enzymes, digestive enzymes and transporters.CONCLUSION:Treatment with LA improves redox homeostasis and the function of intestine in mice fed HFD. The mechanism may involve preventing oxidative stress by scavenging ROS directly and increasing those of free-radical scavenger enzymes gene expression indirectly.
