Increased knowledge and attitudes in this patients has significant role in reduse prehospital delay and nursing education has a significant role to reach in goal. This study assess the effect of nursing education on knowledge, attitude and beliefs in coronary artery disease to response to symptoms of myocardial infarction

Methods: This study is a Randomized Clinical trial. Research samples are 170 patients with one of the coronary artery disease that selected by convenience sampling and allocated to equal group [experiment and control] with block randomization. Results from study analized with descriptive statistics and chi-square, dependent and paired t test

Results: Results from study show that increased mean score of knowledge, attitude and beliefs in experimental group after nursing intervention. Also there is significant differences between knowledge, attitude and belief score before and after intervention [P=0.00]

RESUMO

Agriculture is one of the oldest and high risk professions. Traditional agricultural production mainly depends on the physical power of farmers; thus, optimum efficiency in agriculture depends on the attention paid to the importance of certain measures to prevent diseases and accidents due to farming. This research was performed with the aim of survey of knowledge and attitude of farmers of Southern Khorasan province regarding agriculture related OHS issues in 2008. In this cross-sectional study, 818 farmers were selected and a questionnaire that is validity and reliability had been approved was filled out through interviewing each subject. Data were analyzed using the SPSS program and appropriate statistical tests. p 0.05]. Considering the obtained results, improving health knowledge of farmers through appropriate training programs is necessary

RESUMO

Health systems are challenging with increased health demands and limited economic status; whilst, nurses shortages is a worldwide issue. Job dissatisfaction among nurses is a main cause for work leaves. The aim of this study was to assess job satisfaction among Iranian nurses and its related factors. In this cross-sectional study, 1058 nurses were selected randomly during 1384-5. A two-sectioned self-report questionnaire was used which included demographic data and job satisfaction scale. Data were analyzed in SPSS version 12.0. Findings showed that only about one third of nurses were satisfied [satisfied and very satisfied] with their jobs [34.30%]. In this study, main factors of job satisfaction were job safety [44.5%] as well as working environment and facilities [44.26%]. On the other hand, nurses were dissatisfied with their job because of the described job duties [74.75%], managers' way of communication [70%], and their social position [70.3%]. Increasing the salary and payment, job equity, modifying working time and shift plans, providing opportunities for the nurses to further their carriers, and continuing education are important issues in increasing job satisfaction

RESUMO

Composite resin restorations are widely used in dentistry. Therefore, it is important to identify possible causes of failures in this regard. The purpose of this study was to investigate the microleakage of two microfiled and hybrid resin composites following the use of 10% carbamide peroxide. In this experimental study, Class V cavities were prepared on the buccal surfaces of 150 human anterior teeth. These teeth were randomly divided into six groups and filled with two microfilled [D-E] and hybrid resin composites [B-C]. The groups B and D were kept in contact with 10% carbamide peroxide for three weeks. Likewise, groups C and E were kept in contact with the same solution for four weeks. The specimens were rinsed and sectioned after being emmersed in 0.5% buffered fushin, and the microleakage was evaluated under stereomicroscope. Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests as well as Hotteling trace were used to determine the significant differences between the groups. In comparison with the control group, composite microleakage was observed in all groups after emerging the samples in 10% carbamide peroxide. Microleakage was lower in the three-week group, when compared with the four-week one. However, the difference was statistically significant in the microfilled group. The microfilled composite restorations should be changed after using carbamide peroxide
